Smartsheet - Best for On the Go Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is easy to configure, to format, apply filters in either tiles, plan or kanban format and to add contacts in email format
What do you dislike about the product?
Just the text wrap around feature - when tabbing to end of text, it auto wraps - just annoying
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bringing all RAID items into one place for easy quick and efficient project team meetings - there is little duplication or repetition

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet's Gantt charts, Kanban boards, and dashboards enable real-time status tracking for multi-state projects. This transparency has improved project accountability and timing—especially for Operations Managers and Technicians
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet cannot replace core platforms like Donesafe, Definitiv, or Xero. Attempting to run WHS compliance tracking or full HR performance reviews directly in Smartsheet adds unnecessary duplication and data risk.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is a strong fit for Sky5’s operational departments that need structured project execution and live dashboards. However, it must be used with a clear understanding of its limits—particularly in regulated or sensitive functions. With structured governance and smart integration, it can drive efficiency and transparency across key project-based workflows at Sky5.
Overall helpful, needs some intuitive formatting
What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can make your sheets as complex or simple as you need them to be. I like that you can add attachments in different cells for quick reference.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think the "filter" option is very intuitive in terms of how I would like to "view" the sheet, though admittedly I am not incredibly savvy in this area. I also would prefer auto-save features to be more "real-time." There also does not appear to be an intuitive way to "move" collumns over if I want them to be listed in a different order, but again I am not sure I have mastered Smartsheet.

Tracking project items, priority, and sharing easily with team members.
A good tool for Enterprise
What do you like best about the product?
The tool has good tools for Project Management. Having projects in one place with the ability to give view access to all is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve is a little steep to start but honestly, it's a short hill not a long slog.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping real time and data is a huge plus. Every project manager is using the same format so people understand where to look.

Smartsheet Review
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to colaborate with others outside of my org in real time in a safe secure manner. The ability to run a report in real time is by far my favorite feature with Smartsheet.
What do you dislike about the product?
The spell check feature when leaving comments will often duplicate the entire comment rather than change the suggestion. This may be user error, but it is not a friendly function.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Securely share information with clients without the need to securely upload a document and risk sending via email. Every invited to the sheet can see the updates without the risk of someone being left off of an update, that may have otherwise went out via email. It organizes everything in one folder.
Smartsheet needs some additional features and automation customization.
What do you like best about the product?
It is well organized and the interface is easy to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is not as user friendly as other platforms like Notion and Airtable. Smartsheet's customization for automations is inverted and clunky, and the inversion makes for specific scenarios and settings impossible due to the inability to divert logic settings for multiple parameters.

My experience using Smartsheet as a product manager
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet makes project plans very easy to execute. Either starting from a template or from a blank slate, it's easy to add tasks and pre-configured fields.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not had an easy time making product roadmaps or release calendars.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Generally speaking, Smartsheet is our org-wide tool for baselining on tasks, project management, and (soon-to-be) product requirements tracking
A must have for Project or Program Managers
What do you like best about the product?
How it integrates with other systems we already use (MSFT Suite) and how you can create just about anything, in any way, to fit your needs. As someone neurodivergent, the ability to pick up where you left off is extremely valuable to help me keep my projects and progress in order.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside would be the cost to the organization. The pre made formats, colors, size, attachments are all things that I enjoy about Smartsheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s solving problems in ways that OneNote could not. I am still able to take notes but now using Smartsheet as an intake form, it makes me more efficient to manage my work load. I also enjoy the ability for my team to review without me sharing a page ala OneNote.
