Good as an entry point into project management
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has many different functionalities that make it easy to develop a project management plan, housing multiple projects across teams into one workspace. It's familiar look and feel of the excel-like interface makes it a quick out of the box tool to integrate into my work environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
The percent complete calculation that rolls up to the main item doesn't seem to allow for weighting by priority or importance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet allows me to see all projects in one workspace which has helped me prioritize and manage my workflow. Because it's integrated across our systems, it's also easy to collaborate with colleagues on projects directly through the Smartsheet interface.

Sometimes its not saving automatically and lost materials like this

What do you like best about the product?
I like the automation features, it really helps make providing updates or notifying the right people easy. Having conditional formatting is great for organizing as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I run into the occasional limitation when creating forms, especially when it comes to setting up contact lists.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is allowing our teams to submit marketing requests and collaborate on completion in an efficient way, without requiring hundreds of emails and multiple channels.

Ability to share access with users, ability to create forms, they ability to track the history of changes

None. We just wish more people used the software.

Smartsheet helps our Procurement team to accurately track orders and communicate with teammates and requestors.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some advanced features have a learning curve, but support resources are helpful. VPN disrupted the upload of documents. Had to correct this on my end.
I wish there were more functional and useful templates for SI, VAR, MSP and etc.

Smartsheet has streamlined our project management by improving coordination and reducing missed deadlines. The real-time collaboration features have enhanced communication within our team, leading to faster decision-making. Additionally, the automation of routine tasks has saved us time and minimized errors, allowing us to focus on more strategic activities.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to streamline the intake of new project funding requests and send custom communications for end users.
What do you dislike about the product?
System doesn't allow you to update data sheets unless user has a full license
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to keep a master data file with multiple data attributes to create metrics and report on them. the ability to communicate with request submitters and keep a history of conversations details. Ability to create customer reporting for Executives.

I love the reports feature. We often need to share out different information from a master document and this makes it easy to share out to different groups. I also love how easy it is to print out

I wish there was more ways to color code and making this more visually appealing.

It's a great way to stay organized and also allow other teammates to jump in to projects and know what is going on

The grid view takes time to get accustomed to and makes conditional formatting difficult.
