Smartsheet Is A Practical Tool for Managing Projects and Team Workflows
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Smartsheet makes it easy to share only the specific sheets and workspaces you choose. It also allows you to notify users whenever changes are made, which helps keep everyone informed and aligned.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I like least about Smartsheet is that many of its key features require an upgrade, which can limit functionality unless you move to a higher-tier plan
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is helping our company track projects, manage tasks, and coordinate scheduling more efficiently. It provides better visibility across teams, improves accountability by clearly assigning responsibilities, and streamlines communication through shared updates and notifications.
Was phenomenal fo 13+ years, now distasteful.
What do you like best about the product?
easy Project Mgt software. Now, to Enterprise focused. Not focused on the business or user.
What do you dislike about the product?
Used to love it, but customer service is terrible and has grown so fast cant fix backend issues with your growth. Customer service DOES NOT know how to speak normal business language; it only speaks in smarthseet backend language. Makes no sense and frustrates clients.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's typical project management software. Can't overthink the obvious. Trying to add all big features to differentiate, but continue to miss the basics. VERY frustrating. Also, treat small & medium-sized companies poorly with HORRIBLE customer service & tech support. Non-existent. Also, by launching expensive Enterprise features that ALL users should have access to for good project management work.
An excellent tool for process development and management
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet allows me to solve process problems by allowing me to design the flow I need without lots of coding experience and easily deploy the solution to the rest of the business.
What do you dislike about the product?
More options in creating visualizations would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet allows me to create custom workflows to solve communication and planning problems, and to keep the whole business aligned.
Great tool, but some feature enhancements would be helpful
What do you like best about the product?
The versatility of the program. You can use it for many aspects of business.
What do you dislike about the product?
The formula features are very complicated and tricky. Also the inability to update a formula within an sheet with search/replace. You have to update each individual formula, which I have to do each month for our reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We provide quality evaluations for our client's call center representatives. SmartSheets forms are used for our evaluator to capture the information. SmartSheets report and sheets are used to track the information, and email the reports to managers.
Powerful Team and Individual Project/Process Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to create so many types of process/projects within the tool. I also enjoy being able to share sheets or projects/dashboards with various teams that I work with regularly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like the ability to incorporate more functionality with the calendar features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
collaborative project management using an intuitive tool that other collaborators aren't afraid or need a lot of knowledge to use.
Improved our group meetings significantly
What do you like best about the product?
I like the flexibility of being able to easily transition between different layouts, such as cards or Gannt charts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it was possible to have more control over changing various aspects, such as being able to add fields on the entries.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our group was struggling to keep track of tasks, who they were assigned to and when they were due. Now we go through our task list on Smartsheet during our weekly group meetings and have found it helpful in keeping much better track of these things.
Great tool for event management!
What do you like best about the product?
We use Smartsheet for to keep track of all tasks related to event management. The interface and process of creating a form is easy and laid out very well, making the entire creative process a breeze. We love that all forms and speadsheets can essentially "talk" to each other, pulling relevant information from one document into another.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love for all changes to save automatically versus having to manually save.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet makes it where my team can input and track event data and requests without having to have back-and-forth on email.
The beautiful function of Smartsheet
What do you like best about the product?
The Smartsheet provides a lot of extra functions comparing to Excel which makes the work more easier and integrates with other application. It is easy to implement and has a good customer support.
What do you dislike about the product?
I did not find any downside of using Smartsheet. Of course, the user needs to take some training to get familiar with the SW.
