Long time user (~10 years) generally positive with a few improvment suggestions

Ability to add attachments and discussions to rows, row indentation

Smartsheet: tool for work collaboration and not only
What do you like best about the product?
I think that smartsheet is a very functional collaboration tool, it is easy to use and the courses they provide allow you to fully understand its capabilities. It is also easy to implement due to its compatibility with various well-known and used platforms. It allows you to do many things, but mainly project management and work collaboration. The automations it provides allow you to significantly simplify your work, save time and avoid errors or oversights.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the things I would change are about the dashboard graphics, too simple for my taste. Also the Customer service, is quick to respond and take charge of the requests, but they are slow to solve the problems that are highlighted to them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As I mentioned, Smartsheet, in addition to being a tool that allows you to track project phases, progress, RAID, programming automations in a low-no code way, it is possible to send approval or update requests that, in addition to automatically managing these actions, freeing me from having to do them manually, allow those who receive them to directly fill out project sheets without having to enter Smartsheet. If we talk about premium apps, control centers and resource managers, we enter another world. With CC it is possible to automatically create project templates that inherit all the necessary information from a simple intake sheet; RM allows you to manage resources and see the workload they have day by day, and much more. In short, it is thought out rather well and certainly helps in everyday work.
User friendly tool
What do you like best about the product?
It's an user friendly tool and it was resulted a good tool for a bunch of needed project management phases.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a very expensive solution. A connection with Jira was expensive. Any other additional tools where expensive and my company refused to buy them because of this.

It's a good and useful solution for different project management tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet allows sharing of information instantly around a large team spread over many locations including in different countries

I've not found an aspect of smartsheet yet that I do not like or that could be better

We are using smartsheet to help with our support requests on a largescale long term project. We require assistance from multiple departments and smartsheet is helping us track the lifecycle of a support request
Powerful Project Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The workflow of automation and the collaboration functionality

It doesn't have time stamping automation, its hard to create TAT per task

the ability to insert various widgets. visually it is apealing and can creat great dashboards. I like the ability to attach documents and create a single workspace for multiple functions.

there are a wide range of tools and i havent used all yet but no downsides so far

Smartsheet effectively organizes company content and offers excellent visualization. It serves as a valuable tool for problem-solving, communication, project management, and tracking continuous improvement ideas. I also appreciate all its features

t can be frustrating to repeatedly hide multiple columns after making changes. That said, there isn’t much I dislike about Smartsheet—its limitations arise mainly when dealing with highly specific documents tailored to niche projects

Best Collaborative work space
What do you like best about the product?
It gets updated instantly for the team members as soon as you make a change and save it. Plus it doesn't lag much like other platforms do. The best thing about it is you can manage a lot of different sheets with different people using different access tools.

Sometimes the smartsheet system is down which creates some delays in day to day tasks

The biggest help we get using this smartsheet is, we as a company can now easily communicate with different 3PLs providers sharing live data
Great Project Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
We use it every day to manage our annual projects, tasks, events, and multi-department events. Each employee is assigned as either an event owner or participant, which further enables employees to see how they all play a role in organizational success.
We also use it for surveys. The form builder is easy to use and you can create logic questions that allow you to cover all types of questions.
I also like the Dashboard feature. We have multiple dashboards in our organization that houses critical information that can all be found in one place. This has replaced our would-be intranet.

What do you dislike about the product?
One significant drawback is the lack of built-in analysis tools for surveys. Manual review and analysis is required for survey results, which can be lengthy and time-consuming.
In regards to dashboards, documents you want to add have to be in one drive or some other cloud app. It cannot be local to your device, which can be frustrating.

Project management and organization of thousands of action items annually.
Smartsheet is user friendly and extremely helpful in managing and monitoring workflow.
What do you like best about the product?
I most enjoy the ease of use and the view of workflow. I also don't have to send out emails one at a time—it does it for you! My office frequently uses Smartsheet for multiple different projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is hard to follow the horizontal lines when looking into responses. Having alternating colors or something along those lines would help tremendously.

Our projects often move between multiple departments and we need to get approval efficiently before deadlines. Smarsheet helps us organize and effectively accomplish tasks to complete projects.
