Smartsheet is a powerful tool
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use and number of features make Smartsheet a robust platform for data collection and reporting.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet has very few downsides. The only issue I've ever seen is clients have had trouble accessing shared sheets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet's ability to track input from multiple users and create and send automated email updates to project progress is invaluable.

It can be a little tricky to learn how to use advanced features.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is easy to use and has multiple user types to maximize adoption across organizations even limited number of licenses. Smartsheet offers a variety of templates (that are still customizable), that make it easy to find the right template to achieve intended use. I especially love Smartsheet University & Smartsheet Community.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Smartsheet had the ability to use in field Help. Whenever I am working in Smartsheet and not sure how to do something, I have to exit to find it Smartsheet University/Community or find a tutorial on YouTube. It would be easier if Smartsheet had the ability to hover over something and get help directly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is helping in multiple areas of business. In HR, it is helping to streamline the HR requisition to approval process. For the strategy team, it has helped to optimize the project intake, tracking, to outcomes reporting. Within the construction team, they have utilized Smartsheet to track and manage key milestones, support handoffs, and improve statewide and interdepartmental communication. Other parts of the business are incorporating with other technologies as well.

easy to use the functions than excel, can selection multiple names or tags in one cell.
What do you dislike about the product?
can't merge the cell like excel. or may I don't know how to merge cells

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is a usefull tool that enables many crucial services such as: alarms for imminent tasks, online work with different users, creation of functions also between different sheet, creation of widgets, coordination with email contact and other windows products
What do you dislike about the product?
Not possible to create advanced calculation sheet, adding macros for examples or pivot

Management, Calendars, tasks list, action plans
Smartsheet is a great tool with a lot of customization options
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is a great collaboration and knowledge management tool that blends Excel-like functionality with cloud-based storage. I like that there are many templates to quickly onboard projects based on differing needs. Permissions allow for my team members to access only what they need. It can be difficult to learn more complex formulas as they tend to differ somewhat from their Excel-inspired counterparts. However there are plenty of help articles and forums to help with more complex issues. There are also plenty of automation options to help with workflows and data management.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although there are many dashboards to choose from for reporting, they often are difficult to tailor or edit to display the exact information from a given sheet especially if there needs to be any transforming of the data. Similarly templates are good starting points, however if you wanted to thoroughly customize sheets, often it would be better to start from scratch. These complaints are pretty niche however and I have found that most of my project management needs have been met with Smartsheet.

Smartsheet helps with reporting, earned value management data, and task management through its collaborative tools and reminder functionality.
SmartSheet has made our internal processes seamless and easy to track.
What do you like best about the product?
The reminder and being able to assign tasks to other members. We use it daily for all of our clients. It was easy to adapt and works well with our other technology like Outlook and Adobe PDF. Training doesn't take long as it's very intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could select a time to be reminded instead of them just pushing overnight.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowing us to track all service tickets and our renewal process among different team members in our organization.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of being able to share info across our departments and the rest of the organization. It is easy to navigate and gather information.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a very well rounded software, no complaints.

Struggle to produce good reports, unable to get a good printed document even using the "generate" function
