Very easy to use and user friendly!
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheets is very easy to use and the features that it has are very easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike. When you select a sheet it opens the sheet on the same page that you are using. I would like for smartsheets automaticly open a second sheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is very easy to use when it comes to sharing with collogues.

What do you like best about the product?
Our company uses Smartsheet once every couple of weeks to provide a spreadsheet to store managers, so they are able to input employee's time. I love that you are able to share the sheets with specific employees and choose if they are able to edit the sheet or just view it. It was an easy switch to go from using Excel to Smartsheet.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it is expensive for what my company uses it for, but it could be worth the price if you utilize all Smart Sheet has to offer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Smartsheet as timecards for the Managers to fill out for payroll.

Powerful tool and very cost effective!
What do you like best about the product?
Smart Sheet is a powerful tool to implement processes within an organization or team. The process I handle and implement requires team members to log in daily/monthly/quarterly to input the necessary data we request them to do. The process was very easy to build/understand and was easily integrated/trained within our users. Using the powerful tools and functionality that Smart Sheet offers, I was able to set up a fully automated process from users inputting data and their respective managers validating and approving the data. The automated notifications help us comply with the timelines we set and overall the functionalities help capture different types of data from text/documents in a fully automated manner. The biggest positive of Smart Sheet is that the users are free and hence extremely cost-effective to businesses.
What do you dislike about the product?
I see a huge potential with the platform here, especially for businesses who are trying to set up daily processes like project management, data inputs, etc. and Smart Sheet currently offers and extensive list of functionality already. I would still advice the team to look into industry standards to improve on those functionality for eg, filtered drop-down options, more automation templates to help add detailed work flows to name a few.

Currently, Smart Sheet is helping us achieve a number of use cases, ranging from Project Management to Data collection and approval workflows.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that it's very user friendly, and very simple to use while being highly effective. Covers all requirements I'm looking for without hassle or complications. Allows for a simple way to organise and track files in one location. Aesthetically pleasing software. I personally use it on a daily basis. It is also very simple to implement any updates or changes to previously saved rows of information, or to add things between previous rows if needed
What do you dislike about the product?
On ocasion the software may freeze, or if a file is too large it is unable to be used as an attachment
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows for a simple yet effective mannor to track and organise files which are highly important for us to keep in line
Smartsheet has changed the way our company handles data entry, tracking, and trending
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has helped our company's data entry and trending in a completely different way. Through the reporting system, we are able to build an automated report that updates the data automatically when the filter is updated. It's a neat feature of smartsheet that when a form is submitted, it takes all the data and enter it automatically into a sheet, and the sheet can be analysed using the report feature. Customer support has also been very helpful in helping us build the different features that we use, including control center. Data shuttle has also helped automating and reducing the amount of time needed to complete our work, especially since it's run automatically and on a scheduled basis.
What do you dislike about the product?
While I commend smarthseet for all of its advanced features, there are definitely smaller details has missed. For example, when selecting dates, I'm unable to jump to a different year just by clicking on a different year. Instead, I have to keep clicking the back arrow until I get to my desired month year. Additionally, there is no feature to prevent changing the size of a column, which have at times caused other columns to be missed due to it not being visible when some columns are frozen but column size change is not locked.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is helping us solve our resources problem, as we have limited human resources to be able to conduct data analyses. With smartsheet, the time it takes to complete data analysis is reduced since the data can be immediately extracted from the available sheets, to which form data is entered into.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is a very intuitive and user-friendly platform. It is similar enough to other programs like Excel to be familiar from the start with what you're doing and how to navigate a sheet. Additionally, it can be used every day for whatever varied need of the company.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Smartsheet is a great product, there are some (what I believe) easy changes that could be made to greatly enhance the experience. Simple things like sheet features, formula additions/improvements, and formatting options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Smartsheet to help me keep track of my tasks, their updates and changes along the way all the way to their completion. It is used as a data intake, filtering, and display source for tracking projects and keeping them up to date.
Good for cloud based data analysis & visualization, lacks some functionality other software provides

The dashboard functionality is great to share data in real time amongst stakeholders

there is some functionality missing in smartsheet that other softwares have that need to be included
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to share one sheet amongst many stakeholders, whether they have an account or not. Most users are able to easily use smartsheet due to its similarities to Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel.

What do you like best about the product?
Wealth of templates that are available to use. The tool is very user friendly and the dashboards are a good way of conveying information
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be more complicated in some areas. The way in which dashboards can be shared. As some team members will not check the dashboard, sending them a remainder with the direct link was quite useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves managing several projects and tracking utilisation and displaying data.
I had never used Smartsheet until this past year at my new company. No complaints.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to collaborate among different individuals.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is hard to find a template that matches the sheet I am trying to create.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a live document where multiple people can access and edit at one time. I utilize it a lot for gathering information from forms i.e., an RSVP guest list information for an event.
