The addition of Smartsheet to our business has been a game changer!
What do you like best about the product?
It is the center of our business today. I love that I have a person that can custimize and make changes quickly. And I really love the reports because I use them to report my sales and inventory numbers weekly!!!!

What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it had a more modern feel to it. Kind of feels like Salesforce sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Smartsheet has prevented us from sending emails when we sell something. Emails suck and get lost with strings, not hitting reply all etc. It's amazing and I love it. As the General Manager of my division using this I believe it has streamlined our process and helped us grow our business.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has been a game-changer in my daily work. I have created multiple sheets and reports that streamline my tasks, making it easier to track progress and manage projects efficiently. However, the best feature for me is the automation tool - it allows me to set up notifications that alert me via email whenever a status changes or an update is required. This ensures that nothing slips through the cracks and helps keep everything on track. Smartsheet is a powerful and intuitive platform that enhances collaboration and workflow automation, making it an essential tool for any team. Highly recommended!
What do you dislike about the product?
While Smartsheet is an incredibly powerfiul tool, there are a few areas that could be improved. The learning curve can be a bit steep for new users, especially when setting up more advanced automation workflows or complex formulas, Additionally, some features - like dashboard customization and certain integrations - could be more flexible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps me streamline my daily tasks by improving organization, tracking, and collaboration. One of the biggest challenges I faced was manually following up on status updates and pending tasks. With Smartsheet´s automation features, I receive email notifications when a status changes or when an update is required, ensuring that nothing is overlooked. Additionally, the ability to create dynamic reports and dashboards allows me to consolidate critical information in one place, making decision-making faster and more efficient.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it can compile all my data to make great dashboards that are very user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a bit of a learning curve to get up to speed on the software.

Keeping track of timelines on multiple projects.

What do you like best about the product?
1. Customer support. The Smartsheet reps are in regular contact with those of us in the organization who hold seat licences, and they are eager to answer questions and refer to technical experts in the organization. 2. Power of the platform. We can do everything from collect information, input data and analyses, build out dashboards, and manage the most complex of projects from Smartsheet. 3. Smartsheet University. The online help, orientations, and guides are superior to most platforms I have used in the past. They are accessible, sequential, and really allow users to go from minimal knowledge of the platform to being able to functionally use it after just a few hours.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be overwhelming. The tool can do so much, so knowing where to start can be a challenge. 2. Mapping a project in my head to what Smartsheet can do. I find translating what I want to do to what is possible difficult. 3. Propietary language. While the terminology is not difficult, what they call/name various things are not called the same thing in other platforms or products.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps by having one centralized area where you can store all open items and completed/upcoming tasks. It makes our jobs much more productive and efficient by having everything in one place as opposed to having to sort through dozens of emails and other documents.
Excellent organizational tool for projects of all sizes
What do you like best about the product?
I liked how user-friendly and intuitive it was to figure out how to use it quickly and efficiently. Really great for collaborative projects or projects with multiple components and users/data input sources. I have not yet had to use customer support, everything is pretty easy to problem solve. I use it every day for projects. It's been seamless with integrating my existing projects onto the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
The annual cost was slightly high, though it was definitely worth it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing a massive data set and multiple data entry sources onto one easy to use platform that is easily accessible for all project users.

Fantastic Time Saver
What do you like best about the product?
Form Updates: Our company has a large team (~125) of review managers, each of whom must provide regular updates in many areas. Prior to using Smartsheet, we were collecting the updates from each RM separately and compiling them. That process was time-consuming and tedious. Now we use automation to send the update forms to the RMs, and their responses are automatically captured on the Smartsheet. Using Smartsheet form updates has made this process immeasurably easier. Once you get the hang of building automations, there isn't very much that still has to be done manually. We are converting everything we can from Excel to Smartsheet.
Data Shuttle: We are now able to auto-update Smartsheets with reports from other systems, like Domo and SharePoint. we no longer have to manually pull and update reports.
Data Mesh: Lookup formulas are limiting, in that they must be either manually entered in each cell or converted to a column formula, which applies it to every cell in in the column. I love that Data Mesh can pull info from a cell on another sheet without overwriting data that is currently in that cell.
AI Tool: We use the AI tool to help write complicated formulas, and it gets it right or close every time. The AI prompt lets you write what you need in simple language.
Support sessions: I haven't used the one-on -one support sessions yet, but it is greatly comforting knowing that they are available if you have an issue you can't work through on your own.

Some of the functionality that we grew accustomed to from using Excel, is limited or missing in Smartsheets.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My department provides reporting on a team of ~125 review managers. Prior to using Smartsheets, we would collect updates from each RM separately and compile the updates. It took many, many hours each week. Now we have set up automations to send forms to the RMs, and Smartsheet automatically collects the responses. I don't think it would be an exaggeration to say that Smartsheet has saved a full-time position worth of hours each week.
Great for any multiple project based company!
What do you like best about the product?
We love smartsheet, we use it every day to keep up to date with our multiple large scaled projects. Smart is super affordable with multi different plans, highly customizable with powerful analytics and reporting tools. Customer service is always helpful and quick to resolve problems as well.

Add-ons required for time tracking and resource management and pages do not update in real time

What do you like best about the product?
I would say that the thing I enjoy most about Smartsheet is that you can include as much or as little detail as you want. Some Smartsheets that I interact with are not very busy and fairly straight to the point. On the other hand, I also use some smartsheets that are very detailed and include all aspects of a given project. This allows for your smartsheets to be catered to the team you are interacting with. I have noticed, when presenting to leadership it is easier to have a simple/concise view. The customization is what sets smartsheet apart from regular excel tracking.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say that one thing I do not like about smart sheet is the formulas. Similar to google sheets, smartsheet somewhat has its own language, which makes it a little difficult when dealing with numerical data. This has proven to be difficult as it took me quite a long time to familiarize myself with the formulas and integrate them into my smartsheets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is capturing every aspect of my projects and helping me track/moderate specific tasks, allowing for a reasonably smooth project timeline.

Automations are very helpful in reducing administrative tasks.

Sometimes it is difficult to work with the formulas as compared to Microsoft excel.

It is taking out admin tasks from my day-to-day activities and making things go smoothly.
