Smartsheet is a top contender for the best project management tool around.
What do you like best about the product?
With Smartsheet, I have the to better collaborate with my project stakeholders across departments. Since it is a software that is used organization-wide, the entire team has visibility into tasks and deadlines. It also helps with resource management and communication. Teams are able to align their plans and more efficiently manage resources across departments. This is my go-to tool for managing my own projects and helping others in my organization manage theirs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Gantt view in Smartsheet could use some improvements. The best way right now to have a full view of the chart is to download in a PDF, but first, you have to play around with the size to make sure you can see it all. It would be great to more filter options for the Gannt view.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using Smartsheet, the organization was experiencing disconnected project planning and resource management. Several different project management tools were being utilized across teams and departments. Now, project work is centralized and we are better able to track tasks, resources, and communication across teams. There is more visibility for all project stakeholders, including executive leadership. solves the problem of disconnected planning and resource management. It provides a centralized, collaborative platform for tracking projects, tasks, resources, and budgets across the organization. The dashboard functionality provides real-time visibility into key project updates, so I don't have to recreate a report every week. It saves me so much time and makes my work more efficient.

What do you like best about the product?
Familar spreadsheet format based tool. Very flexible. Nice UI. Great embedded feature that can enhance a classic spreadsheet in many ways. Great to build reports and dashboards around portfolio, program and project management

It must offer superior features beyond a standard Excel spreadsheet to remain relevant.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating visually appealing roadmaps and timelines with the simplicity of a spreadsheet. It serves as a powerful layer on top of project management tools like Jira or Azure DevOps, which lack intuitive, spreadsheet-like features for project planning and roadmapping.

Intuitive, collaborative software
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet allows my team of 100+ coworkers, colleagues, and clients to access and edit information in real time. Once you get the hang of it and understand the features available to use, the flow and set up of each sheet, dashboard, workspace, etc. feels really intuitive. I use the software every day in my work and rarely encounter glitches or a desire for an additional feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet does take some time to get onboarded to and get used to. Once you're up and running, it's a great tool to leverage, but getting there can be a little time consuming. Sometimes the large volume of features can feel overwhelming and I worry that I am not using all of the tools/features available to me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is allowing me to keep track of all of my projects (and their statuses) in one place. I have a report that is generated for me on a timeframe that I have chosen for project updates. I can have colleagues and clients collaborate in their appropriate workspaces and not have to manage 4+ systems to download, upload, catalogue, etc.
We are Smarter and better prepared as an Agency using Smartsheet.

Automation, information sharing, dashboards, easy to use and integrate into our other systems.

What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were a better price point for non-profits.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Moving information that was siloed in each department into an easy to use, easy to find Dashboard for all stakeholders to access. Preparing our agency for future growth through streamlining our processes. Tasks are easily managed and audited.
Move over Excel, Smartsheet is taking over
What do you like best about the product?
Apart from the ease of use and amazing templates to build from, I believe that the best feature is cross-departmental integration. Easy to use from the most technical to the least.

Generally speaking, I did not dislike anything.

Having a one stop work space that many different departments can collaborate on is fantastic. Smartsheet is helping integrate some systems together.

The event invitation form is not adjustable o resizeable, so it doesn't give me the flexibility to create my own form shapes.

Easy to monitor all the inputs done by stakeholders.

I love that I can cross team collaborate within Smartsheets with workspaces, sheets, and more.

I would like more customization within the Forms feature.
