What do you like best about the product?
Ease of Use and to implement. Collaborative and Automated

Due to the vast number of features it may become difficult for non-experienced users to navigate through.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communication and collaborations.
It is a good Order Management System, but you could not depend upon it totally.
What do you like best about the product?
Smart sheet is a very good platform to maintain your data like clint side and also internal department performance data. It is very easy to use to coordinate between different departments starting from Sales, Design, Costing, PPC, Production, Quality, Logistics. Person with low education background to high management level can use it, and data easily flow from shop floor to management dashboard means ease of integration. It is also a very adoptable software.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are few points I want to highlight. 1. When you try to integrate departments through smartsheet, you are unable to hide the main valuable data from a particular department or mail id. Let say you prepare a Master sheet, and a report based on that Master sheet. Now you want to share the report to a particular department (any particular person) and ask them to either attach documents in the report or do some changes to a particular column, they will be unable to edit or attach a document until the master sheet shared to them. 2. The programming done in the Autamation section took too much time to run automatically. Every day you need to cross check the sheet and run the automation manually. 3. If you need to transfer any information to another sheet you need to wait for hours or need to transfer next working day by the time all the small automation will be done for that particular sheet or row.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet solving the problem of maintain the business data. In our current practice we are now enabled to maintain a record of our business including our clint data like the most orders we received from which clint and location, also enabled to look the performance of different department and individual work performance. We can derive the performance against each order for individuals from Sales, Design, Costing, PPC, Production, Quality, Logistics. What is the current workload on each department and on individuals, in respect to the order value, qty, and time taken for an individual or department.

Easier access for outside stakeholders of your organization

It allows our team to track progress on various projects and creates transparency
User friendly PM tool, like the collaboration features
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is easy to use, especially compared to Excel for project management. The interface feels familiar but offers more project-focused tools. I also appreciate the collaboration features—it’s great for sharing sheets, tracking updates, and working with my team in real time. Plus, the community pages are a helpful resource when I have questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Something I dislike is editing dates outside of dependencies. When dependencies are enabled, Smartsheet sometimes shifts dates automatically, making it difficult to manually adjust the schedule without reworking dependencies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems smartsheet solve are similar to what can be found with MS project. One item I do appreciate is the collaboration functionality and ability to leave comments among team members.
Smartsheet - Vital for Productivity
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is a very effective tool for project management, especially with the notification capabilities
What do you dislike about the product?
Searching for documents within the system is a little cumbersome. It would be helpful to be able to search for documents by the creator's name.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is making it easier for us to document, track and notify for maintenance windows that we need to conduct in our production facility. These windows need to be coordinated between multiple groups within the company, which this allows us to do with ease.
Best Tool I've Ever Used
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to filter one sheet into another. It's straightforward to anyone that I've shown it too. I've taken smartsheet to over 4 different companies that I've worked for.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great if there was an option for the seperate sheets that can talk to eachother show up as tabs (like in excel) so the sheet owner can view the master/ slave sheets that way instead of new tabs. For example, we have have it set up for onboarding. so we have 3 sheets that come from it. Onboardin HR feeds into onboarding IT and onboarding payroll. Would be easier to have one sheet with tabs, So the IT team only gets access their one tab and so on. Just on master user gets all 3.

The automations save us time and manual labor.

It's really smart and easy to use. I appreciate that others can contribute to the sheet.

I feel the sheets are not easily printable.

Keeping track of all the stuff
Great for automated tasks, but limitations compared to excel workbooks.
What do you like best about the product?
The automation of tasks and reminders is very handy and helps keep projects and teams on task
What do you dislike about the product?
The ability to have multiple data sets on one sheet is a limitation that I am able to better navigate in Excel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is simplifying the process and reducing the time needed to send reminders and ensure work is getting completed.
Smartsheet has been a great asset. The new billing model however is a shock and disappointing.

The automation and user collaboration features make Smartsheet a great tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Change in the subscription / user licensing is absolutely ridiculous. Our invoice will be increase 6x over what it was. This is a huge increase for a small business. Not sure how sustainable this will be for many organizations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is used in a variety of ways throughout our organization. It has helped us solve for data submission from staff, automation of follow up tasks, task tracking and a variety of other functions as well.
