SmartSheet is Smart!
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use and have super cool features.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price is very expensive. I wish the price will come down soon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can assign tasks to each other, request for update from the sheet directly. And all the data is in one place.

Powerful interconnected sheets, views, and reports. Update multiple sheets through reports.

The inability to join tables (sheets) in reporting. Does not behave like a relation database.

Easy to use and intuitive collaboration tool
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is hugely helpful as a collaborative data-sharing and management tool that can be used across teams and with multiple team members. I love the ability to have many different types of reports available, that can all be cleanly consolidated and presented in shared workspaces and project dashboards. We use the tool to present up-to-date information to clients, as well as day-to-day tracking of project tasks and information.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more options for creating different folders within the workspace - specifically for being able to archive files that are outdated, without deleting them. I wish you could place grids/task lists etc directly into a dashboard without having to make a duplicate "report" - so that you aren't having to edit formatting and stuff twice - but I understand why it's set up that way - it just requires duplication of efforts. I also wish that working live within a shared file had a slightly faster upload time - so you could actually see what people are doing live (like in a Google doc). Instead, there is a delay, where people need to save their changes, then you have to refresh your own page to see their changes. This makes it challenging to collaborate live in a shared file.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to keep track of many different files, and display them clearly out to our clients in our project dashboards.

What do you like best about the product?
Organizing lists and projects. It is great to be able to track your progress, especially when collaborating or working with 3rd party/vendors. I like getting notifications so you can check on things right away.
What do you dislike about the product?
Licensing has been limited but usable. Just not ideal sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to convey data and conitnually update as needed without having to send several emails a day.
Smartsheet: great tool for project management and tracking.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that a lot of features that you can't do in Excel are offered to design many project management tools. I also like that you can design workflows for your need (for example, being able to move a row 'project' once it's complete, as opposed to me manually moving/deleting the row myself). It is relatively easy to use, especially for people who have not extensively learned Excel. Customer support has been excellent as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel that sometimes the workflows and the desired programs are not perfect. For example, I faced several instances where the workflow should have been 'executed' because I changed one of the rows/columns, but did not see the change being implemented. It still feels a little bit imperfect. The implemention and integration; therefore, does not seem perfect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management, such as assigning tasks to users and setting deadlines, has been helpful. Doing this in Excel is not as convenient, so smartsheet is more helpful.
Versatile tool
What do you like best about the product?
The best about Smartsheet, you will find solutions for almost all the needs in different ways. The tool is beginner friendly and support many operational tasks in addition to project management. It supports seamless integration with several other tools, and in most of the scenarios the implementation of workarounds was quite simple. I use it every single day, and it saves me some hours of manual work. The Smartsheet representatives tied to our organization always delivers extraordinary customer support for any questions we may have. In a nutshell, this is one of the best tools to save your time.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can improve the functionality in form customizations, like branching logic, piping, randomization of multiple-choice answers, targeted links to specific participants etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Project management: The tool provides some exquisite features for accurate and timely project management with no human intervention.
2. Financial tracking system: I was able to set up a financial tracking framework, which has allowed transparency in managing and sharing financial information.
3. Integrations: Integrating Smartsheet with Power bi and share point save a lot of time in avoiding the shift between various tools.
4. Premium applications: Like Data shuttle, Dynamic views, Work Apps have some versatile features to make tasks even more easier, by allowing the automation the tasks, and sharing of right information to right people.
5. Dashboards, & Reports: These are very useful in showing the high-level information to authorities as needed.
6. In additional many operation activities have been automated with the help of Smartsheet functionalities.

Organization wide to the tool, can work on the sheet at the same time. Very helpful for project management, milestone deliverable tracking.

Helps document the milestone deliverables tracking, a one-stop for tracking; and task management to assign individuals to the task in the smartsheet. Features allow to customize the sheet for internal project management needs
Far better than MS Excel
What do you like best about the product?
I love the user-friendly interface and flexibility, allowing me to customize sheets for various needs like task tracking and data collection. I love the automation features, such as alerts and reminders, which boost productivity by reducing manual tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Analyzing / attaching it with external excel files as we also use excel files.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have multiple Smartsheet forms and i love the notifications part when we receive notifications for any update made on the form.
Excellent Value Add to Projects and Processes
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet can take a process to the next level with its automation. Less time is spent managing the work, allowing more of the work to be done. Project planning is easy to implement and communicate with Smartsheet. We use Smartsheet whenever we can!
What do you dislike about the product?
The "smart" features of the product can be unfamiliar to those who have exclusively planned and managed projects within standard spreadsheets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps streamline our cumbersome Engineering Change process. Additionally, Smartsheet has made project planning and cross-functional collaboration much easier.
