The modularity of Smartsheet has been a game changer.
What do you like best about the product?
I have been able to log all my equipment data inside of Smartsheet as a one stop shop. This has cut cost from using a dedicated CMMS and the cost associated with it and given us much more control of the data and what we intend to see. This is a daily use tool, by many in the company.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall Smartsheet has been a great tool with very few downsides. The only one that comes to mind is the lack of scheduling options for automatically generated forms and the delay with Slack integrations

This has been our go to for a company wide CMMS system.

Dynamic Real Time Insights Enable Complex Projects
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is very intuitive, so as a consultant, it's relatively easy to get new clients up to speed. I project manage financial tech build projects which often warrants extensive objects to monitor. Through Smartsheet, I am able to set up a project plan, collaborate on requirements, stand up build trackers with clear owners and reviewers and monitor status at different cuts of the project. The more I use Smartsheet the better my capabilities to gain real time informative insights evolve, thanks to the customization of the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
None come to mind right now. It serves my needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Clarity on who owns what and when it's due by. Clarity on status updates at the children level and the parent level. Consolidation of tracking many unique things into a master file for summary output on project progress. Notifications to users when their build, review, action is overdue. Enabling dialog w/ commenting functionality when reviewing something like a requirements matrix.
The tool is OK to manage projects but competition offers better and more moden features

Easy to use for people used to managed projects with excel.
What do you dislike about the product?
Web User Interface and mobile apps have an old interface, not very intuitive. Seems that Smartsheet is progressively migrating to a modern user interface in the web version. Still not clear when mobile apps will be updated.

Useful tool for Project Management in Small Teams
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has added value to our project management processes for our small, but growing nonprofit team. We have shifted from using Excel files to track our project progress and tasks into using multiple sheets in Smartsheet. Just about 9 months from starting our journey, we are starting to learn more tricks to improving our reports and dashboards to better balance our team's capacity and visualize progress toward completing deliverables. Each person on our team currently use Smartsheet about 2-3 times a week.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although the tool feels familiar (like Excel), there are many nuances and it is very easy to set up a workstation incorrectly. There is much we still need to learn--it has been a process of trial and error. One downside to the tool has been the onboarding process. Our customer service rep who sold us the platform was not very responsive and did not connect us with our support team to help us learn how to use the tool to our best ability. We had to reach out to multiple other contacts at the company to find how to submit a support request and receive training, which we only got after we had already "self taught" ourselves and set up sheets in less-effective ways. In this way, we found that it should have been easier to implement the tool across our research team function--especially since we did not have any complex integrations to build out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Smartsheet to visualize our work across the research team in our small nonprofit organization. It allows a clear 1,000 foot view for our leadership as well as practical task-oriented details for our research team to track progress on projects.
Smartsheet has helped me organized and is used in variety of ways on my account the past 3 years.
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is very flexible with their sheets, you can tailor it to your needs with the limitless features it has. Currently, I use Smartsheet to keep track of every client meeting I have, inventory for the client, and other ways. I use my Smartsheets on a daily basis!
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet does not have an auto save option to save any changes made on the sheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of all agenda items for each client call. This helps me track upcoming topics as well as making it super easy to scroll through each call dated back to last year.
smartsheets has been very helpful for our crews and easy to use.

I like that my crews are able to use it without so many mistakes. its simple for them and they seem to understand this more than other forms we have used in the past.

I do not like that they cant go in and change something on their own when they make a mistake

smartsheets is solving the usage of papers for our office. We like that it can be used on a tablet and we can automatically see it

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is nice in the sense that it can be shared between multiple users with live data.

Even if I refresh the spreadsheet or close it out after making an entry, we have noticed that entries get written over by other users. It's like Smartsheet hasn't fully updated.

Quality, tracking of purchasing and receiving issues.
Excellent Knowlege
What do you like best about the product?
I have only been using smart sheet for the last 9 months, but I love how easy it is to use. It has allowed our team to track specific data. Collaboration is very important to our team and smart sheet has allowed us to do this with ease. It is a lot easier to use than excel.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am still learning, but I do not have any complaints as far as right now.

Smartsheet has allowed the team to keep track of data for our members and workflow collaboration with other teams. We are able to communicate efficiently. We can keep track of incorrect registrations and class issues.
