Excellent, easy to use project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is intuitive and easy to use. I've been able to quickly train my team on its use. The available templates make it even easier to spin up a project and reporting. I also love the ability to share plans with non-users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting up workdays, holidays and such is still clunky but adequate.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is the best cloud based platform to mange the project workflow, daily tasks and automate the repetitive processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are few drawbacks which I found as a user of smartsheet
1) Inspite of having excel like interference the smartsheet it's advance feature can be complex for the new users
2) We cannot use it offline internet is must
3)Pricing can be high for small businesses or individuals users

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our team using smartsheet for project management and daily task management.
We are maintaining the spreadsheet of our daily task and hours estimation and another spreadsheet for the task management our clients raised the new task with all the details like description,due date,LOD,BU etc.
We also upload our submission on smartsheet so for us it's a single smart link for client and us with the transparent and clear business communication.

Very user friendly and easy to implement
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has made project management and task tracking much easier, since it is able to integrate our standard spreadsheets with email workflows to send reminders and update requests. It is also very easy to visualize basic data into dashboards so that we don't have to call up spreadsheets and powerpoints for weekly and monthly reviews. I use it regularly both to manage business processes and to keep myself organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
Creating and editing sheets can be tedious, since each column operates independently, unlike Excel where you can easily copy and paste formatting and other properties between columns. It is also annoying to have to make a report of any sheet that you want in a dashboard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automates processes that were manual, automatically gathers input, visualizes data, helps manage projects and sends reminders

Easy Budget Tracking
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has been the best way for my coworkers and I to collaborate on budgets in real time. It is the simplest way we have found to make sure that we are all on the same page as far as funding goes. It was very easy to learn and start working in as well. We use Smartsheet multiple times a day.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly there hasn't been many downsides. Maybe the fact that viewers can edit certain items in a sheet but not all? Other than that it has been a smooth implementation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is benefiting me in that it gives real time updates for budgets that I am able to share between multiple people. It is much easier to use than other resources we have tried.

It is a great data collection tool, but lacks some functionality.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that the sheets can be shared with many people and you can control the level of access they have (view only, edit access, can share etc). Has some really clever functions and workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
Need to ensure that the people who use it have had extensive training to ensure that it is being used correctly. It is not just a glorified Excel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Combing many sheets into one workflow has prevented errors.
It's a great project management tool for balancing multiple projects.
What do you like best about the product?
I like all of the capabilities it offers for each sheet and the option to combine and link various sheets together, it makes it easy to track how projects relate to one another.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes some getting used to in terms of having so many options it can be overwhelming at first. It's not always intuitive I think to people who don't have much experience with similar programs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's great for tracking shifting schedules and data. I love how it immediately alerts all participants to updates.
