Excellent tool for client facing project management
What do you like best about the product?
The Grid and Calendar views. I use Grid strongly for planning and utilize columns, indents, and conditional formatting to help put the whole plan in place. Then I use Calendar view to see the project at a high level to identify overlaps, look ahead into the future, and review together with the client in an easily digestible way.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not too many dislikes, it's a great tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping plan out a project plan and schedule. Customer facing events, resource assignments, engagement date and times, prep and follow-up, milestones and due dates are all accounted for.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to automate tasks like sending notifications when a field is updated
What do you dislike about the product?
My company doesn't give out enough subscriptions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Shared structured organized cloud based workflow management
It is easy to use and helpful

I am able to send to our managers to input information needed.

Having a limit on license, having to pay much more for additional. Pulling data is not very user firendly.

A central link for all information to be stored in one place versus multiple unorganized methods.
Smartsheet for Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy Smartsheet is to use for creating client timelines and keeping track of project milestones. I have used it to create project trackers, Critical Paths, task lists and more. It is used a daily basis by myself and colleagues. We love the variety of different uses Smartsheet can be used for.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish there was a way to create a full project plan with sub tasks for each project that multiple team members can contribute to and edit. Its possible that this exists and I just haven't discovered it in Smartsheet yet.

Very easy to use.

I like that it's similar to Excel AND Project, both. Also, it has a better look & feel for the end user.

I haven't found anything that I dislike.

Better access to data company wide.
It is a fairly easy to adopt platform but can be confusing if it is not your main focus

1. Formulae, something as easy as vlookup feels tricky to get right across sheets.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is best organizational tool out there for my company. Anyone on my team can easily use it. It is not complicated which is what I like best about Smartsheet.
What do you dislike about the product?
The graphics are a little boring. Wish Smartsheet was a little more vibrant.

Keeping my organization fulfilling deadline for our external defense client.

Easy way to collect documents and feedback from clients
What do you like best about the product?
I like that both our firm and the clients can upload documents and make comments on the sheet. It makes it extremely efficient to gather information from clients.

I wish the user interface was a bit easier to use. It takes a little bit to learn how to use the different features.
