Works well, until it doesn't.
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of implementation, good templates. Workspace sharing is easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The need for licensing additional features for average functionality, licensing rates for Workapps users, features combatting each other (Safe Share list vs unrestricted alerts in automations).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Approval workflow between multiple departments

The intuitiveness of the software, and the ease-of-use while being able to maintain organization and updated timelines.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found anything that I dislike at this point.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When multiple projects are ongoing the reports make it much easier to get a real time snapshot of what is upcoming and due to the customer at any given time.
Smartsheet will always be the best!!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that everything is very organized and ease to maneuver. The customer support is also very great only ever had one issue and it was fixed by the end of the day. My coworker and I have used Smartsheet for almost 4 years now and love everything about it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Never had an issue with Smartsheet so sad to see you guys go. :(
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is solving my organization problem without you i would be in shambles. It keeps all of our information in order for our work time frames and very easy to access.

Dashboards! They are the best! I love the visibility it gives on overall projects or functional areas in our group.

I wish we could have multiple sheets in one, similar to excel

it is easy to share up to date live data, in a more friendly way that Excel online. Dashboard are great for this.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Smartsheet’s powerful automation capabilities, intuitive Excel-like formulas, user-friendly collaboration features, and its efficient notification system that keeps key stakeholders informed.
What do you dislike about the product?
One limitation I’ve encountered is the cap on the number of Excel-like formulas that can be used within a single sheet. Additionally, importing large, complex project plans—especially those with intricate dependencies—often requires some manual adjustments or light coding. There may be alternative solutions, but this has been my experience so far.

It's easy and has good features, along with good customer support

I couldn't fault much , it's just the integration is also easy once you know how it is done.

A Collaborative Experience
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is a great for collaborative projects and allows teams to update the same document easily. I think the ability to change between the different views (grid, gantt, etc.) are helpful. The dashboard feature is also very helpful and gives a great overview of your data.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think Smartsheet is very user friendly and lacks a lot of commonly used functions. For instance, I can't duplicate questions when editing a form. Smartsheet doesn't have the ability to create multiple tabs within a single sheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently, Smartsheet has been helping me with creating a dashboard for an executive and helps me organize agenda items. It's easy to use as I can share that with my team and they can see the updates in real time.
