Limited storage for the plan. Many technical problems.

Convenience of Smartsheets
What do you like best about the product?
The automation feature of Smartsheets is very useful for reminding assigned personnel to respond to the issue/comment at hand. Typically you would have to send email to remind them, but the automation feature allows it to be seamless and at a set reminder duration. It is also a "live" file that can be easily shared across new users by adding them to the document.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing yet. It does seem overwhelming and complicated at first, but there are a lot of guides that walk through the functions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Smartsheet to track comments and action items that stem from meetings to be integrated into the project. You can easily set up an automation pathway that sends reminders to responsible personnel without having to email/call them. The construction industry is slow to adopt technology so productivity can be slow with the manual work involved. Smartsheet helps automate that process and makes documentation easier.
Essential tool for project tracking and team coordination
What do you like best about the product?
As an Acquisition & PMO Services Analyst, I use Smartsheet daily to manage projects, timelines, and stakeholder tasks. It's easy to customize for different workflows, and automation features help keep everything on track. Our team also uses it to monitor internal process milestones and share updates with leadership through dashboards.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can lag with large sheets or heavy automation, and formatting options are somewhat limited. Guest access restrictions also make external collaboration harder without additional licenses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps us manage complex acquisition and transition projects by centralizing timelines, tasks, and responsibilities in one place. It improves visibility across departments, streamlines communication, and ensures accountability, which reduces delays and keeps all teams aligned.
Very Usefull if you know how to use it

Easy to learn. Great for team collaborations.

I would like to have more of the excel features incorporated in the software.

Its helping me manage preventive maintenance tasks, and allowing my team to view progress
I find Smartsheets an extremely useful collaboration tool for my project work

I love the fact you can have all your project documentation in one place and the whole project team can access and comment, amend the worksheets.

Currently i don't have any issues with Smartsheets.

Useful tool fgr managing projects and collaborating on initiatives
What do you like best about the product?
It is simple to use and doesnt require in depth training to get moving. This allows us to share sheets across multiple users easily and get the desired outcomes with having to reinforcement.

I think it could improve it ability to produce roadmaps. Being able to export an nice visual and slot it in to a presentation would be super useful

It centralises all our workflows, timelines, and documents in one place, making it easier to manage multiple projects across group companies.

Efficiency with Smartsheet
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has enabled my HR Department and other departments in our Business to be more efficient, to not let things slip through the cracks, our audits are smooth and information is shared in a professional and amazing way (Dashboards) and to have information at our fingertips no matter where we are
What do you dislike about the product?
The sheets cant hold more than a certain amount of formulas or data lines, we we pull in all our sales data and the pull summaries from the master sheet - we have reverted to changing the reports to quarterly rather than Annually because of this barrier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use smartsheet for so many different reasons, in Marketing they are using Smartsheet to communicate and finalise artwork, marketing campaigns as well as calendars, also to communicate between departments the version control is amazing and they love it, in Sales the Sales Admin is sharing the sales data with the Sales personnel and they have live data of how their sales is going it allows them to see trends and to focus on where we are losing sales and to do something special if we can see some of our customers are increase basket sizes. We have gathered 4 years of data on the sales so YOY trends per Business per Area, per Rep is now a breeze to show and keep track off, In HR, Smartsheet is running my life, all my HR reporting is done on Smartsheet and my HR Dashboard is available to my CEO if he has any questions, recruitment is much easier as I use Forms to gather data and when it is pulled it the Formatting helps narrow down candidates that is most likely a fit for what we are looking for, BBBEE purposed we are able to keep the data and send notifications if we need new Certificates from our suppliers it saves us on costs to every year having to contract a company to phone and get the certificates for us inorder to make our quotas on BBBEE, QA is using Smartsheet not only for reporting but to ensure safety training and SOP's are distributed and the data is in a format that our auditors can pull and verify, our customer complaints also works through a smartsheet form link, and its ensured that we can service our clients easier and more effectively, there are so many aspects of our business that we are using Smartsheet, I only mentioned a few, Finance has also been more increasingly interested in Smartsheet and I will be teaching them how everything works soon.
