Smartsheet is really smart!
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Smartsheet is its flexibility in adapting to different project management styles while maintaining a user-friendly interface. This makes it easier to maintain visibility, manage dependencies, and ensure accountability, especially in complex or cross-functional projects. Furtheremore, it is very easy to learn thanks to their community. I use it every day.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the platform offers many advanced features, some of them require a learning curve or more technical knowledge, which might be a barrier for less experienced users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet solves key challenges like project visibility, team collaboration, and task automation. It helps keep everyone aligned by centralizing information and reducing delays through real-time updates. Its automation features save time by handling repetitive tasks like reminder, progress monitoring and report.
A great tool...but....
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is a great tool, which helps with transparency and collaboration. It has a number of great features and is also very easy to use so easy to train others.
However, I do wish the Smartsheet team implemented some of the enhancements that have been asked about for years. In the Smartsheet community, there are pages and pages for certain requests that 100's have been asking about for years. It seems Smartsheet continues to push out stuff that is irrelevant, rather than pushing out enhancements that could really benefit the users.

What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest downside of Smartsheet would be the new pricing module. Being able to have free commenters or editors was a huge reason we selected the tool. Being forced into the new pricing model was not something we expected. It also seems like Smartsheet jumped the gun on the rollout or completely missed the QA team given the number of issues.
Another downside would be the lack of knowledge I've come across when trying to contact Smartsheet for issues, or inconsistent knowledge.

Smartsheet helped to bring better transparency and collaboration to the project plans.
General Review
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to collaborate and set permission levels, very intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way to auto refresh, we have a TV we use for our live schedule and it randomly refreshes or I manually do it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to store completed work photos, it's great to refer to when we have questions on previous builds.
Excellent for Electrical Contract Management
What do you like best about the product?
The automations are very helpful. We track our engineers training records and the software allows us to send reminders to our training management team as well as the engineer when they are about to expire and the tracker itself has the options of conditional formatting, orange for when close to expiration and red for when something expires. Customer support was fantastic, as are the outings they put on for us. really enjoyed my trip to McClaren to see how they implement the software to help the F1 team track and manage projects. We use it daily and has vastly improved our efficiency as a team. From a a mangement point of view the integration was flawless. It was myself who set up all our sheets/reports and tought others to use the software how we want it to be used.
What do you dislike about the product?
For me personally it was setting up the formulas but that's less of a smartsheet issue and more of a me issue haha. Also, trying to get everybody onboard and integrated with the move from manual tracking through excel to this new system for us was hard, but again, a people issue rather than a software one
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The automations are the biggest winner for us as a group. Saves so much time not having to track everything manually. From issuing project schedules to creating tasks and automating reviews of those tasks, Smartsheet has been invaluable
Great project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
What I really like about Smartsheet is the fact that I am able to set up reminder emails. This way I stay organised and I never missed a task from my projects.
I also really like the fact that it is easy to move tasks around, to copy and paste and to edit editing as you need.

There is nothing that I dislike, I am very pleased with the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an events professional, I am constantly working on different events. Each event has a different project timeline and I have a lot of deadline that I need to set and meet. Using Smartsheet helps me set up, edit and keep track of my projects.
Highly customisable but expensive!

automation of forms works really well! also the ability to create a sheet and assign a QR code so that it can be scanned and recorded at marketing evenets

smartsheets is a very steep learning curve and as a result alot of staff simply dont use smartsheets

ability to hold lots of time sensitive information and automate responses

Not easy to switch between accounts. I.e. I have a business login and also a login for another entity but have to log out and log in all the time.

Great Program
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to create Gantt charts. Also, the indent feature is a nice visual for distinguishing sub-tasks from the main one. Finally, it makes sharing the information easy among colleagues.
What do you dislike about the product?
A multi-tab option would be helpful for large projects so they can be broken up by area, but the users can still quickly review the project as a whole.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a quick and easy platform for the creation of Gantt charts and to help manage project timing and deadlines.
Nothing spectacular

Sharing across platforms, i.e., Teams and Excel.
What do you dislike about the product?
A few bugs in the syntax for "ifsums" and other functions.
