What do you like best about the product?
Always online, consistent server performance, features that work work very well, ability to use multiple similar sheets to create aggregate reports
What do you dislike about the product?
Certain features are unavailable or are locked behind a paywall, even as a paying customer. Inability to use formulas to dynamically pull data from a different sheet. Inability to automate monthly sheet creation tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a monthly, quarterly, and annual calendars for a variety of teams and deliverables, and Smartsheet allows us to do it at a very good cost and performance.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving all the workflow management with the filters approach and formula based implementation.
Great features give me the ability to track multiple projects and keep all stakeholders up to date!
What do you like best about the product?
In addition to all of the standard "spreadsheet" features, the forms and automations allow me to track multiple projects while also getting input from and keeping everyone up to date. Forms and their available logic are intuitive and easy to set up. Automations are the same way!
What do you dislike about the product?
This is minor but the one part about Smartsheet that I find a little annoying. Most sheets end up wider than your screen, creating the need to scroll left or right, but the only way to get to the scroll bar is to scroll down first, which makes the toolbar inaccessible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a company, Smartsheet allows us to track large projects and assign tasks to various departments, all on one sheet. Due dates and completion dates can be updated, allowing others to see the status of a particular task. As an individual, Smartsheet allows me to track my projects and share those updates with coworkers and external users. We were also able to create a "ticketing system" to track requests from offices.
Smartsheet for Honeywell Projects
What do you like best about the product?
Existing MS Projects can be imported seamlessly into Smartsheet. It is extremely simple to update and also there is great viewing options that I have used to present plans to my project teams. Implementation is fairly easy without the need for any actual hands-on training. Smartsheet allows me to easily integrate Project Tasks and track and trace with very minimal effort
What do you dislike about the product?
No comment on this currently as I haven't experienced any issue
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
simplies project planning and tracking. Allows great viewing options for collaboration with Project Teams
Fairly Universal Tool!
What do you like best about the product?
Its easy to use! The app is very similar to other products like Excel or GSheets so if youre familiar with those, this will be easy to pick up. I started out new to the app but within months others have considered me a pro.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some automations/workflows in the base version that do not work properly but I assume work just fine with the project management version which, I have yet to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its very easy to build a basic project tracker.
Easy wel organised process and digitalisation tool
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use and to develop some processes
What do you dislike about the product?
Not enough functionalities to make some more specific processes
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Role level sucerity processes that can be structured by smartsheet workflows
An excel upgrade for project management
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to use many features that excel uses is really helpful so that you can get up to speed easily with smartsheet. Linking sheets together is easier and really useful for pulling data together.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not the most attractive software to use, and I have struggled to pull together meaningful reports on the progress of the project. Potentially due to the complexity of the project, but it does not seem intuitive to easily pull together information for a dashboard. Also the license structure means that not all team members have been given licenses due to the cost, which means that I have to update on rows, rather than the team being able to do it themselves.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is providing an easy way to track actions and tasks for the project and reminding those with actions to complete them. This enables me one place to run through the actions and the team to update on progress.
Easy to create forms and project plans
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to create automations and templates that I can build my project plans for different clients. I like the ability that calculates start and end dates with required tasks to complete.
What do you dislike about the product?
It needs a registration and sometimes clients are thinking they will lose access to the smartsheets I am sharing with them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's providing a place where me and my clietns can colaborate on project we work together.
Smartsheet is a game-changer for project management and collaboration.
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet offers a flexible and intuitive platform that combines the ease of a spreadsheet with the power of project management tools. I love how it allows real-time collaboration, automated workflows, and customizable dashboards. It's easy to onboard team members, and the ability to integrate with other tools like Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Google Drive makes it even more powerful. The templates also save a lot of setup time, which is a big plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Smartsheet is feature-rich, it can be overwhelming for new users, especially those not familiar with project management software. Some advanced functionalities require a learning curve or additional training. Also, the pricing can be a bit steep for small teams or startups, especially if you need access to premium features. Occasionally, the mobile app lacks some functionality compared to the desktop version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is helping us solve several key problems around project visibility, task tracking, and team collaboration. Before using Smartsheet, we struggled with scattered communication and inconsistent project updates across different tools and emails. Now, everything is centralized—timelines, ownership, and progress are all visible in one place. The automated reminders and workflows have significantly reduced manual follow-ups and delays. It’s also improved accountability within teams and made reporting to stakeholders much easier with dynamic dashboards and real-time data. Overall, it’s increased our efficiency and reduced project turnaround times.
Easy to use, quick to develop and powerful automations
What do you like best about the product?
Was easy to transfer from a spreadsheet which was clunky and difficult to include automation to a multi sheet automated 'project' allowing us to manage our workload with request forms, automated responses at progress status changes and completion actions. Managing our workload, resource allocation and integration to Google Sheets means we can keep in control of our workload and get notification of new requests without having to filter out emails and ad-hoc messaging. This saves us significant time and effort and keeps everything in one place and gives the teams outside of ours one common place to request something.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is the speed the automations take to trigger and the need to hit "Save" before you close the screen, we're used to a different piece of software where automations ran immediately and no need to save, all changes were saved instantly, before we dropped back to spreadsheets and then fortunately into Smartsheet later on. Just takes a little time to get into the habit that's all though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prior to Smartsheets work requests would be via email, chat or a phone call, now we direct everyone to the correct form and the work load stages are managed and automated after that. Notification to the requestor would be ad-hoc, now the automations standardise progress updates and completion notifications saving us time.
