What do you like best about the product?
I love the way we can use Smartsheet's for so many different things. The fact we can see who has made changes and multiple users can access the same sheets at the same time is a real game changer

The limit to being able to add / remove more than a certain number of cells at once can be frustrating
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main thing Smartsheets does for us is allows us to have the same sheet open by more than one user. We used to have copy of copy of copy of excel sheets

I've been using Smartsheet daily for quite some time now, and I can honestly say it has made my life so much easier. As someone who creates and maintains project plans regularly, having a tool that's both flexible and powerful is essential—and Smartsheet delivers on both fronts.
What I appreciate most is how intuitive it is to build out detailed project plans while keeping everything organised in one place. From timelines and task assignments to dependencies and real-time updates, it’s all seamlessly managed. I also use it to track and manage resources, and it's been a game-changer in terms of visibility and coordination across teams.
The ability to customize views, automate repetitive tasks, and collaborate with stakeholders in real time has significantly improved efficiency and communication. I truly can't imagine going back to spreadsheets or disconnected tools.

Limited Formatting Options: Compared to traditional spreadsheets, the formatting capabilities in Smartsheet can feel a bit limited. Sometimes I wish I had more flexibility in customising the look and feel of sheets, especially when preparing them for external presentations.

Smartsheet consolidates everything into one centralised platform with timelines, tasks, dependencies, and team collaboration, which saves me time and reduces the risk of things falling through the cracks. With Smartsheet, I get up-to-date project status at a glance, automated notifications, and clear ownership of tasks. This has improved our team coordination and made it easier to stay on top of deadlines. It helps me manage resources more effectively by giving visibility into who’s working on what and identifying potential over-allocations or gaps.
It is very intuitive and convenient to plan and manage project schedules.

Ability to set up simple activity precedence relationships and link or report on different types of information.

Initially, it was somewhat difficult to set up a domain and apply the method to distinguish between external and internal accounts.

It is used to plan and manage construction schedules or permit schedules for construction preparation, etc. in a network-based manner and to track them. It is used for collaboration on project schedule management as multiple users can view the network schedule or provide comments at the same time.

Familiarity of Excel but with a lot more capabilities
What do you like best about the product?
I like Smartsheet's because it has a lot of the Familiarity's of Excel but with a lot more capabilities. I felt the dashboard was a lot more visual which made trouble shooting on how to do things alot easier. I loved the drag and drop function into a line so you can include attachments.
What do you dislike about the product?
To be honest there wasnt much I didnt like. Navigating a new system is always difficult but after watching a couple of walk throughs on Youtube, I find I am using the system a lot more effectively.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has been a really good way of collating lots of information into one place. It has the ability to attach files to line as well as easy features to collapse cells which makes running through meeting notes a breeze

Smartsheet is the best Quality Assurance Management software I've used. The automation capabilities also reduce manual errors and ensure consistency in quality processes.

Additionally, some advanced features require a learning curve or higher-tier subscriptions, which might not suit all users or teams.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to set up a dynamic project tracking tool. I frequently use this tool to track multiple workstreams relating to launches, multi-stakeholder processes, and creative requests.
What do you dislike about the product?
While it is easy to set up, some things are not as intuitive. It is harder to tag owners who are not in the platform as well as inviting them into the workflow.

Creating a single source of truth for complicated multi-stakeholder processes.

How easy to and simple it is to use. Once you get your head around it, it becomes detailed yet simple.

Sometimes previous task spaces can get lost and it can be difficult to find them.

It allows me to organise day to day task and the customisability allows me to curate a workspace that fits my needs.
