Easy to use for project tracking
What do you like best about the product?
The different types of charts available for PMO like Gantt
What do you dislike about the product?
Takes a long time to log in, slow to recognize

Helps total rewards team keep track of on going projects
Great platform with the help of a Smartsheets account manager
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use when uploading data directly into our sellout portal (Skypad). I use Smartsheets regularly and can enter in data whenever necessary.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are bugs sometimes in not uploading between Skypad and Smartsheets that does not always guarantee an upload. However, with the help on an account manager from Smartsheets, it always gets resolved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheets cuts down emails sent between myself and our contact at Skypad. This takes the responsibility off myself and our Skypad team because it reduces errors and emails getting lost, thus data not being uploaded. Smartsheets also is a very user-friendly platform, making it easy for one of my colleagues to step in and enter information when I am out of office!
Great tool to streamline automation processes
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheets has great automation tools that help get quicker responses and updates.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think Smartsheet has the same ease of use and functionality as Microsoft Excel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheets automatically can send forms out which has helped us save time and not having to send out loads of emails.

The spreadsheet format that makes it easy to view all tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have multiple sheets with the same tasks on them all, it would be nice if there was a centralized location where you could make one edit/update to the task that is then reflected on all sheets that contain that task.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Multiple users from several departments are able to collaborate together and keep our projects on track.

It has been good with useful updates as of late. I like the flexibility and easy automation features

There are still features that would be helpful to have but it seems to take long time to get them through and implemented. For example ability to sort in board view mode

Provides visibility to all stakeholders in an easy to understand manner

Smartsheet offers a great platform for visualizing data and is generally user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our customer service experience has been extremely challenging - the sales people don't understand the tool and the recent change to a different user model is still confusing, even for their own people. This has made it difficult to know whether it is worth continuing with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us track progress on big goals and actions over time in alignment with our strategic plan.
Very Helpful in a Narrow Scope
What do you like best about the product?
I like the automation built-in to smartsheet that allows for dashboards to be quickly created. Smartsheet's use of similar formulas to MS Excel allows for users to easily learn the tool without significant training.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet is very limited in its scope and does not allow for data to be manipulated in many different ways. Additionally, running several different smartsheets in a browser at once uses a lot of memory and often leads to the browser crashing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet allows us to track tasks easily and create a simple burndown chart to track project progress.
Great Tool for Project Visibility and Team Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
As a business user of Smartsheet, I find it easy to use once set up, with powerful features that support our daily project tracking needs. Implementation took some effort, but it paid off. We use it frequently across departments. The platform offers strong functionality, and integration options are helpful. Customer support has been responsive when needed.

some features like automation and permissions have a learning curve

What do you dislike about the product?
The conversation function could be a little better with notifications to ensure nothing is missed as this is a useful feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps in processing queries and managing projects and helps for collating information, managing projects and who is responsible at each stage etc
Very useful tool to manage my projects
What do you like best about the product?
Very user friendly, it is easy to use it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I lose my updates because I forget to click the save button. I had a power outage last month, which meant that I lost all the work I had done in Smartsheet because the system didn't automatically save the latest updates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's great that Smartsheet automatically sends reports to our partners. This is very useful as it means we don't need to create and send those reports manually every week. It saves us a lot of time!
