What do you like best about the product?
The collaboration is essential and well as the ability to setup automation and have all documents for a give project in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like to have more Excel type abilities inherit in the system.

One place to have all aspects of a project rather than multiple platforms.
Smartsheet is something I use daily with clients, and it truly makes a difference.

It gives a clear overview of everything going on—projects, deadlines, responsibilities.
Everything stays organized and up to date. We collaborate directly there, no endless emails or scattered docs.

What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, I don’t have anything negative to say. It just works.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the chaos of scattered info, endless email threads, and version control issues. Everything is in one place, always up to date, and easy to share. It saves me time, reduces stress, and makes collaboration way smoother.
A great option to project managment
What do you like best about the product?
Software is so intuitive, its easy to start from scratch a project plan. It delivery one pager slides that consolidate all project information to report to stakeholders.
Very handy that smartsheet contains docents of templates according your project needs, you only need to fill in information as per needed.

What do you dislike about the product?
I would prefer to incorporate Resources Management since the license first level, unfortunately this Resource Management add on need to cover for a minimum of 15 licenses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet help me to arrange multiple project into one sheet and track them all according my site needs.

I like the fact that I can directly reach out to co-workers via smartsheet, can invite people to use it and gather needed information instead of communicating everything via e-mail

I don't like that it is easy to accidentally overwrite data - it is hard to track and recognize when it happens - this should be improved

Smartsheet – flexible and powerful project tool
What do you like best about the product?
I’ve been using Smartsheet for over a year now, and honestly, it’s one of the most flexible project management tools out there. I really like how it combines the feel of a spreadsheet with powerful features for task tracking, timelines, and team collaboration.
It’s super helpful for teamwork – with Gantt charts, Kanban boards, and calendar views, everyone on the team can pick the setup that works best for them. The automations (like reminders, approvals, and notifications) save a ton of time and help things run smoothly.
Another big plus is how well it integrates with other tools like Teams, Slack, Google Drive, and Jira. It makes cross-team communication much easier.

Smartsheet helps me keep projects organized, track progress easily, and collaborate with my team in real time. Thanks to automations and integrations, I save time on manual tasks and communication is much smoother across teams.

What do you like best about the product?
It is great for long term projects; record data, simple as comments and attachments.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don`t have a calendar to gather all deadlines unless I pay, which shouldn`t be an extra feature, because prevent us to use the basics of managing several products.
Dynamic view is terrible. No branding, total hide or show comments and attachments prevents me from sharing sheets; and the view is old and unattractive.

easy to work with clients, to keep up with tasks and deadlines.
Smartsheets is good as a tracking tool but we dont utilize enough of the features to make it useful
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to see everyone's progress and the ability to compare to the financials at month end our invoice tracker is good. Dashboards are quick and easy as well as workspaces. Ity seems exporting to excel works good however then you end up with two sheets and people confuse easily. And we do use it every day.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user number restrictions are tough - Not enough people in our company have access to real time smart sheets tracking and team tracking. Customer support has been non existent and hard to find a human to ask questions of or book training.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It tracks my month end close tasks as well as the monthly invoicing for our contracts
Great Project Management tool with room for improvement

- Multiple views to choose from such as Grid view, timeline view, Gantt view, etc. providing flexibility to the user.
- Multiple filter and search options to make lives easier for people to view specific tasks from a Smartsheet rather than having to go through 500 line items to find them.
- Good for automations such as reminders and notifications sent directly to individuals via email.

Room for improvement with respect to integration with MS Teams.
- The integration currently doesn't allow automations such as reminders to individual members. Individual members are notified through "Smartsheet" chat only on comments they are tagged in or comment threads they are following. But I can only setup automations to be sent to a Teams channel, not individual team members.
- In channels, we have the option to add multiple smartsheets in the "add tab" section, which is good, but not necessarily groundbreaking, since anybody who can use smartsheets can directly go to smartsheets website or app. The integration with MS Teams, in my opinion, is great for people who don't know to use smartsheets (or don't have access to smartsheets) and still need to be kept informed and updated.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to make complex and comprehensive project plans without losing track of major action items and with a good visibility on critical path activities. It is beneficial since all members across functions have the complete visibility on the status of the project. Everyone has access to tasks, timelines, conversations, documents and deliverables, etc., which helps to align all stakeholders without major issues. The automations allow notifying specific stakeholders about deadlines, status changes, etc., making it easier to stick to timelines. Dashboards and reports help in understanding how we are performing and where we are lagging.
Smartsheets is a wonderful resource.
What do you like best about the product?
I love the automation that can be set up. I'm using this for hiring purposes and being able to set up a link where documents can be attached to the employee's name has been so helpful. The easy use of setting up columns and being able to assign different functions to them has made this process of my job so much more streamlined. I am using Smartsheet everyday for multiple assignments and they are easy to keep separated while at the same time easy to access.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the few months that I have been using Smartsheet I have not found a feature that I have had trouble with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The automation of using a link to receive documents have been so helpful. instead of receiving documents through email, users are able to add them to the link provided and they attach next to their name on the grid. I'm able to mark tasks as in progress or completed and this has helped me to see what the status are and keep up with my information more effectively.

Automation with emails on set criteria in Smartsheet.

The limit of rows per sheet. Need to expand the character limit per sheet.
