Powerful and flexible collaboration tool!
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Smartsheet feels like a spreadsheet but does way more. It’s easy to track tasks, set up reminders, and see what everyone’s working on. Makes team projects a lot easier to manage
What do you dislike about the product?
Some things take a bit too long to set up, especially if you're new to it
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps keep all our tasks, deadlines, and updates in one place, so we don’t lose track of anything. It’s made team collaboration much smoother
A one-stop shop for project management
What do you like best about the product?
I love all of the different functionalities of Smartsheet. My two favorite things about it are the ability to automate things (i.e. when an item is marked complete, the row will turn green) and the collapsible row capabilities. Both of these things help me to stay very organized and I have not found these functionalities in an other products that I have used.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much downside. The only thing I can think of is that there is a learning curve to learn how to use it effectively.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I collaborate on projects with a team of people and this helps us to stay aligned on what each of us need to complete and by when. It also helps us to visualize the timeline of the project as well as the status of the steps. We also use it as a ticketing system for our team as we intake projects from stakeholders. It is really helpful to allocate resources and track completion of projects.
Not the best tool for collaboration...
What do you like best about the product?
I use smartsheet for all my creative requests to create a process of incoming, on deck, in progress, in review and complete. It has been great to organize in this structure and provide automations of notifying requestee's of the status of their request. It's flexible to adapt to this structure that works best for our team.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not a tool for multiple users to be editing a task at a time. You must save often and sometimes your card will get overwritten by another user. I think Smartsheet is best for a more technical project manager and have one person manage it. It's lacking the ability to have numerous users operating in a project board at once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is solving the intakes of creative requests and adding it to a queue. It also connects well to other project boards within marketing; for instance, our content and social calendar. Other teams can kick off a task from their board to mine when they need a design ask.

What do you like best about the product?
As a member of the Bright Farms Inc. Team, I enjoy the efficiency and functionality of Smartsheet which is second to none as far as I am concerned on most platforms. We use the platform every day. It is easy to learn and has been implemented and integrated into our company's processes without many hindrances. Customer support has been very responsive as well. Top notch online platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
My main dislike concerning Smartsheet is what it still needs to implement. For example, I would like to have DocuSign Document Generation have more advanced functions concerning changing columns and row connections. Also, I would like to have more options when it comes to nested functions as I always run into difficulties with the variables and the cell data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet has helped my organization stay organized for lack of a better word. We have created several Databases, Dashboards, and Datamesh Functions that have aligned us on various OKRs and organizational goals. We have seen a tremendous uptick in efficiency that has helped us immensely with our expansion projects.
Great functionality and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
This is our go to scheduling software in the office. It is easy to use, easy to share, and easy to customize.
What do you dislike about the product?
I like using colours on my schedules and the colours are limited. It would be great to have more flexibiliy with colour choices on the Gantt Chart too.

Best Project Management Tool for begginers
What do you like best about the product?
As a beginner project manager, I have had the opportunity to manage my projects in a organize and timely manner.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far there's no dislikes for me since is the first tool that I have managed exclusively for PM.

SmartSheet is user-friendly and intuitive.
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is easy to use and has an intuitive interface, which makes it quick to learn and navigate. I especially appreciate the wide range of templates that help speed up the setup of different types of projects. It’s also easy to collaborate with others, and the overall structure is clear and well-organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
Exporting to Excel can be frustrating, as some formatting and features are not preserved correctly. Additionally, a few functions work differently compared to Excel, which can be limiting if you're used to Excel’s full capabilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps us organize and summarize project data effectively. I especially like the dashboard features and the ability to create Gantt charts. It gives us a clear overview of project timelines, task duration estimates, and deadlines. It also supports tracking financial demands and improves our reporting, making project management more transparent and efficient.

Easy to filter and generate timelines, and view responsible owners.

Hard to navigate overall, and jump between sites.

What do you like best about the product?
You can upload files to rows, set up alerts on certain conditions, filter off based on conditions as well. Thankfully I never had to reach out to customer support, that goes to show how good their system is. I use it daily for work. New staff find very easy to learn how to use it/

With the most recent update, you can only create a sheet inside of workspace
