Streamlined Invoice Tracking, Needs a Smoother Interface

  • December 09, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Smartsheet to keep track of invoices being sent out and I really appreciate how it allows me to easily make tables or Excel formats while attaching PDFs to them. It's easier to collaborate compared to Office 365 tools. I mostly use it for attaching PDF files to the rows because it's easy to do and can be done smoothly. I believe the initial setup was fairly easy to add users and such to sheets.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface is a bit clunky, and connecting cells with another sheet is difficult to do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Smartsheet to keep track of invoices. It lets me make tables and attach PDFs easily, making collaboration smoother than Office 365 tools.

Effortless Project Management and Collaboration with Smartsheet

  • December 09, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I wrote this review because I was offered a £20 gift voucher, when I'd written it and it had been published, they refused to give me the voucher, so I'm changing the review.
What do you dislike about the product?
Don't offer incentives if you don't follow through with them
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps streamline work that would otherwise be scattered across emails, spreadsheets, and separate tools. It centralises project information, reduces duplicated effort, and gives visibility into progress and deadlines. Automation reduces manual admin tasks, freeing up time for more important work. Because everything is in one place and updated in real time, it improves communication, accountability, and consistency across teams. Overall, it helps me manage workloads more efficiently and ensures nothing gets missed.

Efficient Data Collection and Integration with Smartsheet

  • December 08, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how Smartsheet helps me collect, store, and connect data through its user-friendly forms. The forms are great, and I really enjoy the easy connection to Microsoft services like Power BI, which lets me store large tables and directly build dynamic visuals. Another thing I appreciate is the ability to create logic between answers in a form, which adds a lot of functionality.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a limited number of rows that can be stored in a single Smartsheet. I wish it could support larger tables.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps me collect, store, and connect data via user-friendly forms. I easily store large tables and connect them to Power BI for dynamic visuals. It improves data management and visualization.

Flexible Automation and Collaboration, But Licensing Limits Us internally

  • December 08, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility of creating sheets and assign automated workflows based on events and criteria that occurs within the sheet(s). Having unlimited external users/collaborators to place data within system for tracking purposes. Having a user-friendly automation set up which is easy to use and to set up based on conditions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The newly added licencing, where everyone within your organisation/email domain must have a paid licence to use the system. Not everyone that uses Smartsheet within our company creates sheets/automated workflows/projects ect. They only place data within the system and edits rows where necessary. With this new licencing we are forced to look at alternatives. As we cant afford giving each person that uses the system only for editing rows a licence. Only a certain amount of employees creates sheets and workflows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Health, safety, Environmental & Quality compliance within the business. External data tracking with contractors, suppliers and clients.

Efficient Collaboration with Intuitive Filter System

  • December 08, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy using Smartsheet's filtering system because it's seamless and intuitive. It's very easy to create and find fields, which is essential for efficiency given the sheer volume of cells I deal with. Also, I appreciate that Smartsheet being cloud-based allows multiple people to contribute to a sheet simultaneously. The initial setup of Smartsheet was very easy after some training, which was helpful. I think it's fantastic overall despite having one or two things I'd change.
What do you dislike about the product?
Being able to collaborate with people on the same sheet at the same time is great. However, there's the problem of accidentally overwriting someone's work. I think this could be avoided if the page is auto-refreshed more frequently, or if the users are able to see other's inputs in real time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet simplifies asset management by eliminating the need for complex Excel commands and allows simultaneous collaboration. Its intuitive filtering system enhances efficiency by managing large data volumes effectively.

Smartsheet: A Modern PMO That Streamlines Complex Projects Effortlessly

  • December 08, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet gives me an operational command centre that actually scales with the way I work. The platform takes complex projects and translates them into clean, trackable workflows without any of the friction you’d expect from legacy tools. The interface is intuitive enough that onboarding is a non-event, yet powerful enough to handle multi-stakeholder projects end-to-end.

The biggest upside is how quickly I can stand up structured project frameworks, automate repetitive tasks, and maintain real-time visibility across deliverables. It removes noise, reduces admin, and helps me drive initiatives forward with pace and accountability. In short, it feels like a modern PMO in a box.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only consistent pain point is that some of the more advanced features sit behind a learning curve that slows down adoption for team members who aren't as tech-comfortable. When scaling cross-department projects, I occasionally have to simplify workflows just to keep everyone aligned. A more seamless integration layer for external tools would also unlock even more end-to-end automation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet streamlines project execution by centralising tasks, timelines, and communication into one accountable ecosystem. It eliminates version-control headaches, manual reporting cycles, and scattered task management across emails and chats.

The benefit is operational clarity. I can forecast workload, manage dependencies, and track progress with zero ambiguity. It reduces bottlenecks, accelerates delivery, and gives leadership the transparency they need without me building ad-hoc reports. It lets me run projects with a level of discipline and velocity that traditional spreadsheets or generic task tools simply can’t match.

Very flexible but very slow (a souped-up spreadsheet)

  • December 05, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Flexibility when linking sheets to build architectures that allow good collaboration between people by automating updates between sheets, even through formulas.

Additionally, it allows for easy creation of reports and dashboards.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like the performance to improve, as you have to wait several seconds for each load.

Also, when a workspace changes ownership, all elements should change as well. Currently, in the Dashboards, you have to update the owner widget by widget.

Additionally, it is not prepared for product management with agile methods; they make it very artificial and it is neither practical nor comfortable (from the board view you cannot create children, in the end, you have to go to the table view).

From the Rest API, you cannot perform the same operations as from the interface.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows basic management of requests/tasks on a board.

Allows automating the filling of fields at certain times.

Revolutionized Our Collaboration and Data Management

  • December 05, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Smartsheet as a replacement for Excel, especially with the additional cell capabilities for managing project data and tracking progress. I like that I can consolidate multiple spreadsheets into one and use it as a task scheduler with progress updates. It's very helpful for collaboration when multiple people work on it since everyone can update it simultaneously. The auto-save feature is amazing, and I find the reminders and updates quite helpful. I love being able to connect Smartsheet to Slack and Salesforce, allowing me to import workflows and get immediate notifications on Slack when tasks are updated. The capacity to upload forms from Salesforce and track progress is just brilliant. I also enjoy that it doesn't have cell constraints, which is perfect for uploading lots of cloud metadata for analysis.
What do you dislike about the product?
Until you learn the tool, you may get confused as there are too many options, and we are not aware of those in detail. It doesn't have an option to work offline—this is a major drawback. Not friendly on mobile. Offline version could be helpful if it can be available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Smartsheet as a replacement for Excel, with more cells and features like task scheduling and progress tracking. It consolidates multiple spreadsheets into one, allowing simultaneous collaboration, auto-saving, and helpful reminders. Integrations with Slack and Salesforce streamline workflow and data management.
