Excellent tool
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to share information easily to many sources. Ability to easily collaborate among colegues outside our organization. Implementation ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it glitches and the sheet disorganizes itself. It requires manual repair on a monthly basis.

We are able to generate high level summary tables to show project status etc. This makes reporting to management easier.
Easily customizable with a good UI
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheets it great at centralizing data in a manner that is searchable, reportable with strong formatting and filtering options. I use smartsheets every day for my work flow. When I have new uses for it I can quickly implement new sheets for our data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Management of contacts is opaque and limited
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it to track status of purchase orders for parts and services. For the services I can see who is assigned the work, when the work is complete, if project documentation has been completed and actions left to remain prior to closing out.

What do you like best about the product?
For the most part I love the fact that Smartsheet works as a one tool to tule them all. There is no need to go out of it to work on tasks or to contact people from other departments.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it feels a bit overwhelming. APIs connection and automation sometimes do not work as they should.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It gives advantage of having people be informed and connected with what is going on with a project.

By using Smartsheet I can receive notification with latest change in the document clearly marked in yellow

Can be used for so many things

Can be used for so many aspects of business, manage projects, order forms ect

Can take a while to upload things especially when on the road

Somewhere to put all the information needed for projects as our crm does have the need capacity for this

it doesnt have the full range of excel, but in other areas is improved than excel.

Versatile management tool
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is both easy and complex -- it's easy to set up the basics and get started. You can benefit from it quickly but there is also the flexibility to configure more complex things like automations and program reporting. Those things may require knowledge and skill to set up correctly but can save time moving forward, making things like weekly status updates easy to generate. Reports are very flexible and it's easy to create personalized reports for specific needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the complexity requires more time than I have at the onset of a project, however there are a lot of resources available, like templates, which are helpful in these cases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's an easy, central place to share project statuses so all stakeholders (internal and external) have one source of truth to refer to during the course of a project.
