What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how you can share data with colleagues in real-time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Getting familiar with formulas and pivot sheets. possibly a tabs like Excel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
tracking invoices and PO's. communicating in live time with colleagues.
Efficient and Organized Connection
What do you like best about the product?
SmartSheet is one of the easiest online programs I have ever used. I use it daily to keep up on my client's policy statuses and it's been the best to have on hand to keep track of tasks that have and haven't been finished. Not to mention the integration into daily business practices was very smooth, it doesn't take much to learn how to use it correctly. I have also not had to use customer support because of how simple it is, but those in my company who have say the service reps are very communicative and helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one thing I dislike, and I know these are different systems, but I do wish that the formulas could transfer over.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet solves the problems of misunderstandings when it comes to Account Manager & Assistant Account Manager communications. It allows for easier access between both the AM & AAM because we can share the sheet and see what each other has worked on, and helps us to catch any issues, or tasks that haven't been completed that have strict deadlines. We also use it to make sure we stay on top of those strict deadlines by using a formula that helps to tell us when we are 150, 140 & 120 days out from the deadline.

It's very similar to using office, as long as you are familiar with office tools

If a I transfer a spread sheet from Excel the formulas don;t get transfered correctly

Easy to share and update by multiple users without many conflicts

It is easy to connect multiple sheets and create reports out of them. I use it almost every day for various reasons like creating budgets, schedules, and tracking project status.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be hard to export sheets to share with those who do not have Smartsheet. It also can be tough to learn how to use some of the various features effectively.

Familiar Interface: If you're used to working with spreadsheets, Smartsheet's layout feels familiar and easy to navigate.
Basic Project Management Features: It offers essential tools like task tracking, Gantt charts, and forms that support basic project workflows.
Automation Tools: Built-in automation can help streamline repetitive tasks, saving time once properly set up.
Reliable Performance: The platform is generally stable with minimal downtime, and works consistently across devices.

By using its spreadsheet-style interface, we’re able to create task lists, assign responsibilities, set deadlines, and monitor progress in a structured way. The ability to view projects in different formats—like Gantt charts, calendars, and grids—gives us some flexibility in how we visualize timelines and dependencies.
We also use Smartsheet to share project information with stakeholders and team members, allowing for real-time updates and basic collaboration. Features like automated reminders and update requests help keep everyone on task without needing constant manual follow-ups.

What do you like best about the product?
Its intuitive interface makes it easy to adopt, especially for teams familiar with Excel or Google Sheets. The ability to create automated workflows, collaborate in real time, and integrate with tools like Google Workspace, Slack, and Microsoft Teams has significantly improved our project tracking and team coordination.
What do you dislike about the product?
While there is a learning curve for setting up more complex automation and reporting, the overall experience is smooth and very customizable. Smartsheet has proven to be a reliable and scalable solution for managing projects, tasks, and resources in one centralized place.

Learning Curve but worth every minuet.
What do you like best about the product?
Using Smartsheet University is a very useful tool to help alleviate the "where to even begin" issues. Once you play and practice, Smartsheet can really become such an easy navigated system.
What do you dislike about the product?
Learning Smartsheet can be a curve. With all of the automations, rules and such it can get very confusing and overwhelming at times. I also appreciate extra security but the code that is needed every time to log in, can be quite annoying even if i have already logged in that day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having more than 1 sheet that "talk to eachother" along with the ease of inviting others to involve their input in, in real time.

Implementation was quick and straightforward, and we were able to integrate it into our workflow with minimal training.

Makes collaborating with colleagues a breeze
What do you like best about the product?
It is simple and easy to use on my phone as well as laptop so I can easily stay up to date on projects whilst out on the road.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like if there were more options regarding notification sending, allowing me to notify certain users of updates within a sheet, without needing to notify everyone who has access.

We use it in multiple areas of the business where collaboration is required.
