What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating Project Management and Work management plans from existing templates has been helpful. GAANTT chart and WBS are easy to use
Great for Data Automation
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has transformed the way we collect and manage data from internal and external sources. It's a great tool to use to manage data organization with the use of automation via workflows. It saves us lots of admin time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet takes some familiarity over time to learn all the features and how to set up reports and create dashboards correctly. Viewing access is sometimes difficult to figure out but it's really trail and error sometimes while tweaking settings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The time taken to collect and sort data, automating tasks instead of using manual Excel sheets and formulas.
Great Tool for Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
It's user friendly, has great tools within in it to customize for each of our company's projects. It has been easy to integrate with our company's needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there are glitches and additional content in columns when creating new timelines.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to use resource management to understand our team's resources and availability day by day. It's been easy to create templates for certain projects to copy over and use again and again.
Project Management tool for the 21st century
What do you like best about the product?
The versatility of Smartsheet to create workspaces to collaborate across multiple groups for a single source of truth is my favourite part. I like that they have dashboards that can dynamically view my information to be more strategic and proactive. The workspace was very easy to create and I use Smartsheet both professionally and personally. Using Smartsheet, I can now easily implement a new project set up in less than a day with all the standard templates we need. I also like how the company continues to enhance their product based on user feedback.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is very little I dislike about Smartsheet. There are some features I would like that would make it better, but they are minor. For example, it would be nice to have multiple schedule/calendar for a project plan. In addition it would be nice to have multiple baseline saved in a project plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet solves the issue of a collaborative workspace including the auditing and tracking of modifications. It also allows me to reduce email traffic if used effectively. The comments/conversations helps us see communication without needing to be overwhelmed with emails. The workflows allow for easy updates and reminders almost like my own personal secretary. Smartsheet helps me save around 6 hours of administrative work per project per week. The dynamic reports which allows two way updates makes it easy to see real time information. The mobile app makes it even easier for me to stay on top of projects anytime and from anywhere.

Dynamic organizational platform with a multitude of uses
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet offers a wide variety of organizational tools that allow for workflows to be streamlined in one place. Recently, my team switched from google sheets to smartsheet. At first, this seemed daunting, but we soon realized that the integration was seamless as we were able to download our google sheets as excel files and upload to smartsheet. Smartsheet has become the main platform used for my project due to its numerous features as well as its level of security. My project solely uses smartsheet for tracking data both internally and shared with our client. We are able to utilize smartsheet for scheduling, resource tracking, communications, and directive tracking which has resulted in a reduction from two platforms to just smartsheet.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having so many features is one of my favorite aspects of smartsheet, however at first there is a learning curve. It can be intimidating to use at first and requires a level of time commitment in order to identify what template may be the best for a given task. That being said, I do not believe this is an issue solely with smartsheet rather any new platform that boasts a multitude of templates and abilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheets provides a level of security throughout all sheets that originally triggered the switch to the platform and has been the greatest benefit. Our client has recently had an increase desire for securing project data, and smartsheet provides that by not allowing those who are not invited/approved to view the sheet. After switching to smartsheet, my team recognized that smartsheet had the abilitiy to replace not only our use of google sheet for data tracking but also use of Trello which was used for communication. Overall, the greatest benefit is having the ability to track a large variety of data in one place which has reduced having to use and pay for multiple platforms.
Excellent cloud based offering
What do you like best about the product?
You can set up your sprints, backlogs, and individual tasks pretty easily. It gives you a clear visual of what's in progress, what's blocked, and what's next. No more guessing who's doing what or where a task stands . Visibility, this is huge. Instead of chasing down updates, you can see the overall project health at a glance. It helps avoid those "why is this still not done or why is this error still happening?" moments because you can track progress and roadblocks more effectively.
Even though we are all remote, it keeps everyone on the same page. Comments, attachments, and alerts mean less back-and-forth email and fewer unnecessary status calls. Less meetings are key!

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Needed a practical tool to get better control over your Agile NetSuite implementations and keep our team aligned without constant meetings, and this does the job. It helps streamline the process and gives you the visibility you need to actually solve problems.
Great for tracking projects.
What do you like best about the product?
We use smartsheet daily and it is very useful to track projects. Also setting automatic actions like notifications for reminders/chasers, automations on sheet that reflect into other sheets or in automatic dates calculations and much more!
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it would be great to have smartsheet more integrated with an AI to make the process of linking sheets or even making reports in a less manual way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having all dates and tracking of projects in one place and be able to make it accesible to other users that need updates.
