Global Access and Effortless Info Retrieval
What do you like best about the product?
I think for our team we all have global access and easy to pull the info

I think you can't dl a whole database!! its there biggest flaw!

we use it to review GSP and other vendors
Exceptional Project Planning and Custom Dashboards
What do you like best about the product?
SmartSheet does a really good job of what it was originally built for - creating project plans. It also does a great job of allowing you to create custom dashboards and reports to replace more traditional project management and reporting tools. We use it daily across 30+ Project Managers. It's very intuitive and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the connectors, including to Confluence require a lot of configuration and troubleshooting so we haven't started using it yet. I wish it was a little bit easier to implement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SmartSheet is helping us create project plans more easily and also up-level project statuses to leadership using the custom dashboards we've created that tie into individual artifacts.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is extremely powerful and offers a high level of customization. It provides a broad selection of templates, all of which can be tailored to fit specific needs. These templates serve as an excellent starting point for teams across various industries.
What do you dislike about the product?
For users who lack experience with spreadsheets, the interface can seem complicated and challenging to navigate at first. Additionally, the free plan offered by Smartsheet is quite limited in its features, which may restrict small teams that are seeking a no-cost solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet allows my team to efficiently plan, track, automate, and report on the progress of our projects. Additionally, we are able to share sheets with external collaborators, including clients and vendors, by assigning specific roles and permissions. For enhanced security, we can also set access expiration dates or require passwords.

Really allows the most common EXcel formulas for efficiency purposes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The linking of files is a hassle if you have too many workspaces. There is very minimal support on certain features such as export and the licensing structure is unclear.

Project Management and communication gaps across the organization as well as running business schedules for visibility to 5+ team members.

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate Smartsheet's flexible roadmapping and timeline capabilities. It lets me model product roadmaps in a way that aligns with how the work happens, whether it's a release level, sprint level, or milestone-based roadmap. I also like the strong collaboration and ownership tracking, which ties collaboration directly to ownership and work items instead of being in scattered form. Each task has a defined owner and due date, which helps keep everything organized. Additionally, Smartsheet solves the problem of fragmented planning, poor visibility, and manual coordination in project execution.
What do you dislike about the product?
As roadmaps become larger, views can become cluttered, making it hard to quickly understand progress. A native roadmap layering feature would help, allowing users to toggle roadmap depths to see high-level progress without being overwhelmed.

I use Smartsheet for project roadmapping and management. It solves fragmented planning, poor visibility, and manual coordination in project execution, allowing flexible roadmapping and strong collaboration tied to ownership and work items.
Efficient Collaboration and Analytics in One Platform
What do you like best about the product?
I use Smartsheet to create sheets shared by all employees, allowing us to analyze the data and create reports and dashboards directly in Smartsheet. I find the collaboration feature very useful, and I greatly appreciate the report feature that lets me view data in a summarized format rather than just entering it. The integration with other platforms is also a significant plus. The switch from Excel to Smartsheet was beneficial because Smartsheet offers reports, dashboards, and different views like Gantt and Calendar, which we regularly use. Setting up Smartsheet was pretty straightforward as my company has a license agreement, so I just had to request an account.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that doesn't work out for me is the limit on number of rows. I understand it's a high number but I would like it to be unlimited. This solves our problem of having to archive the data into another Smartsheet to keep the main Smartsheet live.

I use Smartsheet for creating shared sheets and data analytics. It solves collaboration and data analytics problems, offering useful reporting features.

I love how Smartsheet combines the simplicity of spreadsheets with powerful project management capabilities. The initial setup was fairly easy and straightforward, with templates that helped us get started quickly, and the interface felt familiar. Smartsheet is a powerful and flexible tool that greatly improves project visibility and team collaboration, helping us streamline workflows and save time.
What do you dislike about the product?
One aspect that could be improved in Smartsheet is performance when working with very large sheets or complex reports, as it can feel a bit slow at times. Additionally, some advanced features require extra add-ons, which may increase overall cost. Clearer in-app guidance or tutorials for these advanced options would make the experience even better for new users.

Smartsheet helps me solve issues like lack of visibility, missed deadlines, and poor task coordination. It centralizes project data, improves communication, and makes tracking progress easier. It reduces manual follow-ups and confusion by keeping everything updated in real time.
Effortless Functionality Makes Work a Breeze
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of the functionalities. Smartsheet has a wide range of tools that can be used to work efficiently. There's a lot of features I haven't fully discovered, yet everything feels easy and straight forward to use. The best way to describe it, is excel on steroids and made easier to operate. I'm using smartsheet on a daily basis.
What do you dislike about the product?
When you are working collaborative, the overwriting of other colleagues changes is not always very handy. If this could be improved so it's more direct and every change gets automatically autosaved, that would improve the overall experience even more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet gives a good overview and ease to work on files, this helps me and the team to do our job even when we are not together. It gives clear overview and it makes it easy for everyone to work together on the same project and update each other without being in the same room.
