What do you like best about the product?
I like how it keeps everything organized and you can create project plans. We mostly use it for tracking purposes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The posting of drafts could be a little easier. Some of the terms for the drop down are confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of projects and the data that comes along with that. We will use it to see if we are short staffed anywhere. And it can be used to correct last minute project behaviors.

What do you like best about the product?
It does its job of organizing elements into different sheets fine. It has enough functions like check boxes, drop down menus, etc. that can be used to streamline data input.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like the interface is not great. There should be less stuff in my face, and the functions that I use the most should be most front-and-center, like ways to edit and manipulate text. Instead, I get mostly useless stuff like the tabs to the right. If I want to publish, find update requests, resource management, etc., then I would normally go specifically to that drop down menu and search for it. Stuff that is lacking includes a function to zoom in and out of the sheet (like in excel), a back button to your previous folder (at the very least, when I click on the title, I would like a way to go back to the previous folder).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps us document our experiments company wide. Is useful to source everything into one area. Also serves as a way to document and track things.

What do you like best about the product?
My team and I use Smartsheet every day!! It is a wonderful tool that helps keep our team with multiple projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
The conditional formatting is a bit hard to work with sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps us keep track of who’s doing what, to try and make sure nothing gets missed, especially when we are working on multiple projects at once.

What do you like best about the product?
What I find so helpful about Smartsheet over other applications I have used in the past (such as Excel) is that when using a shared worksheet or spreadsheet, all the information in the row stays together when filtering or sorting. This way, when multiple users are accessing it at the same time, I don't have to worry that people have sorted or filtered some rows or columns, and information has been hidden, and then it suddenly isn't linked with someone's record anymore. Additionally, I like the fact that I can run reports on the information to know what was changed and by whom, as well as send out reminder emails to people on a regular cadence - so they know when they have actions assigned to them.
I also am grateful for the free training which is available with Smartsheet, so that I don't have to try and figure things out on my own - it is easy to implement additional features into my work, which aren't available with other applications.

What do you dislike about the product?
I would say that the biggest downside of Smartsheet is that some of my colleagues are resistant to learn a new software - as they were brought up on the MS Platform of programs, so they question why we have to use something new. I would like to be able to change some of the fonts and formatting the way that I can in Excel, and be able to resize the data, so that it all "fits to my screen". That is probably the struggle that I have most - or be able to freeze rows or columns, so that as I scroll up or down, I know what my headers are.
It would be nice if I could easily link the data or smartsheet into presentations - so that it would show up as a visual versus just a link.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Smartsheet is solving our challenge of tracking data when it comes to completion of action items, tracking which employees are working on which projects, allocation of resources, and ensuring that multiple people can access and work in the Smartsheet at the same time, filtering and sorting the data as needed - as well as running reports on the data that suits their needs without creating problems for other users. It is a game changer!

What do you like best about the product?
It is a really good platform to use for automated data flows for simple data and provides a decent amount of capability to view the data.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found it fairly limiting in term of visualisation and often required workaround to perform fairly simple outputs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It would allow for a centralised place to view our salesforce opportunities and report on the efficacy of out process and well as how we manage projects afterwards.
Practical, easy to use software
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is very easy to learn and easy to use. They have a profound template base that can give you a solid head start on any sheet you need to build. I love that you can add viewers of the sheets who don't need full accounts. We use it for a company-wide quality reporting database, and the form functions allow our field personnel to report data quickly from the field, which is then centralized on a Smartsheet with workflows that send out notifications to all relevant company employees. We also use it to track product testing, budgets, and workflows. VERY easy to use and has a low barrier to entry to learn all the core functions.
We also use the software to integrate with our on proprietary software. It tracks user issues and deployments. This was very easy to set up and integrate.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the download features don't translate well - for instance, if you have pictures in your Smartsheet as an attachment, they don't download automatically or attach the row when it is downloaded. For the most part, formulas transfer well to Excel, but not 100%.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our issues with quality reporting and centralizing the information. This was a critical business function we needed solved. The form functions allow us to get information quickly from the field and get the information delivered automatically to all stakeholders in the company.

What do you dislike about the product?
In my organization it would be perfect to personalize and remove the right corner blue button with the "request access" form.
Also, I think the personalization and automatization features could be better.
And I think that all users agree that the limitation of the data in the sheets it´s disliked.

What do you like best about the product?
All information can be found in one place. Links to different sheets can be placed on the dashboard. Customizing the dashboard to display information as well as links makes it easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Most people have used Microsoft Excel in the past which is easy to use. Smartsheets does not have the same format which makes it longer for training purposes and would make users revert back to spreadsheets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All associates are able to locate information in one central place. Each department has a Smartsheets dashboard so this limits the amount of questions from associates to find information.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can lock columns where only certain people can fill them out. I also really like that the date automatically populates and those can't be adjusted by team members.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it would be helpful to have an additional email be send if you didn't acknowledge a comment that you are tagged in. Smartsheet emails are easily missed in my inbox, because I work in 20+ smartsheets and often the emails get lumped together.

Good visuals with flexible views
What do you like best about the product?
It’s similar to spreadsheets so there’s ease of use to it. The interface is quite flexible in terms of moving things around and making things customisable.

It was difficult to use it with the mobile app

I work with a lot of small to medium sizes enterprises and smartsheet makes it easier to handle small scale projects.
