A flexible and powerful tool for project management
What do you like best about the product?
It is mostly like excel but has more features like collaboration. I love how customizable it is - you can build everything from a basic task tracker to a complex project portfolio dashboard. You can automate workflows, adn this saves you the hassle of manual followups. it can also inegrate with MS teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a learning curve involved, for people who are not tech savy can feel it is a bit complex to use this software. Pricing is an issue too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use smartsheet for managing project timelines, tracking resource allocation, and keeping stakeholders updated through dashboards. It helps us cut down on missed deadlines and improves transparency.

I dislike how the share button on the right corner shares your whole portal, I got confused and accidentally forwarded confidential information to a vendor one time.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can filter on projects and tasks. This makes it easier to navigate and find projects assigned to me and other team members

Smartsheet is keeping me organized allowing me to see all my projects in one place.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has thought of various ways to use existing data and features without having to manually transpose or rework your problems into Smartsheet solutions. I can take any project or opportunity and leverage Smartsheet in various ways depending on my needs. The organization the application allows is hard to beat with any other application. My most favorite part is the "set it and forget it" automation features where you can do just about anything that formulas cannot.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet has a cost and because of that, not all users may have the access we with they did. I dont particularly like the recent changes to licensing where now users are unable to edit a singular cell within the sheet. I am hoping that with this change that means that our company will be forced to reduce our usage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows users to create systems without needing to know how to write script. Easily creates dashboards and reports using the raw data in the sheets.
Top Userfriendly software for project managment
What do you like best about the product?
I have used several project management software for decades, but last year a client’s CTO introduced me to Smartsheet. It was intuitive, easy to use, and quickly became my go-to for daily project work. I now use it across multiple clients, each with their own account, and have even recommended it to others. Its customer support is excellent, with real people available on short notice. Overall, it has been seamless to integrate for project management, task tracking, meeting minutes, and action items.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have multiple accounts for different clients, under my name, at times, i Have difficulty with logging in and always use a code rather than password, otherwise, somehow accounts get mixed up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of timelines and tasks. Ensuing critical path is identified, and all activities are completed on time on budget.

What do you like best about the product?
The fact that you can add files to data rows. Makes it especially useful for Change, Project and Exception Management.
What do you dislike about the product?
Trying to generate graphics and visual aids is very difficult when compared to other common spreadsheet applications. Maybe to my lack of training with the software.

Being cloud based, there is no limit to the amount of data and users that can be applied to the sheet. Also simplification of conditional formatting is really beneficial.

I like that you can attached to the line and assign tasks and is easy to use

I wish on smartsheet you could assign people who don't have an account, and have the approvals on all accounts
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to plan our events and campaigns. We have also created an email calendar and events calendar which helps the stakeholders understand what is going out for marketing. It also helps us keep track on what we need to do as individuals as part of a larger project.

Adaptability of the tool. It's easy to use, intuitive, and quick to get up and running.

Difficult in sharing with non-Smartsheet users.

Ability to share project plans, task lists, and Raid logs without a clunkier project management tool.
