Good For Forms
What do you like best about the product?
I do like the more easiness of creating forms for others to fill out, it allows me to better ability.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not a fan of the sheet portion as it is a bit harder to manipulate like I would in Excel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They have helped me by being easier to gather information by making other answer the questions

Very powerful and flexible tool for project management.
What do you dislike about the product?
Interface is not very user friendly (it's like a big spreadsheet). Some advanced functionalities are quite complex to use and sometimes they don't work very well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Very good if you have many projects to manage; it's perfect to have a common template for all of them and it facilitates the reporting through dashboards pulling information from all of them.

Ease of use, customisation and power of functions quite similar to Excel. The reports are great.

Planning together, the capability of multi users in same time, and easy to use.

Daily tasks management, we can control the time of execution and person in charge of each task. After we can get a goo gant chart to provide a overhaul scenario.
I only use Smartsheet at work, and it has made my job much easier.
What do you like best about the product?
It is similar to Excel, but it has more features. You can set notifications, approve documents, generate graphs directly from other worksheets, tag other people, use more user-friendly formulas, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few things you can't do, but they can be done in Excel. I don't remember exactly what they are, I didn't pay attention to them because they are not that relevant to what I do at work.

Using smartsheet as average company
What do you like best about the product?
One of the standout features of Smartsheet is how easy it is to use formulas. It functions similarly to Excel but in a much more streamlined and intuitive way. Whether you're creating a simple task tracker or a complex project plan, Smartsheet offers the flexibility to design your sheets exactly the way you need. On top of that, automation tools help keep workflows smooth and efficient.
The integration with Google Calendar is also a huge plus. Since we work with private clients and often manage detailed schedules, the ability to sync appointments between Smartsheet and Google Calendar in just a few clicks is incredibly convenient.
Real-time collaboration is another major advantage. Any updates made to a sheet are instantly visible to everyone with access—eliminating the need for constant back-and-forth or version control issues.
When people ask me what Smartsheet is, I usually describe it as a more powerful, flexible version of Microsoft Excel—where your only real limitation is your imagination.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside I've come across is the licensing model. To create sheets, each user needs their own individual license. It would be much more convenient if anyone within a licensed team could create sheets, rather than requiring a separate license for every single user. This can be a bit limiting, especially for teams that collaborate closely but don’t all need full access all the time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I’m not entirely sure what new problems Smartsheet is solving right now, but the features I use work reliably and efficiently. One recent addition that’s been helpful is the AI functionality—it’s great for assisting me when I encounter errors in formulas or need quick guidance.

What do you like best about the product?
Very good for collaborating with teammembers and assigning tasks.
We have a main overall sheet, and within that links to individual project sheets which works very well.
The way it is saving all the time now is also good as i have had some hardware issues lately which means my PC is crashing frequently.
I use it every day, leave it open at all times.

What do you dislike about the product?
the new Table View is good in the way it handles colours, but there is too much "dead space" around column dividing lines. It makes it harder to fit all info on one screen. I do really like how when you search now it only shows the relevant rows, which makes switching to table view worth it.
I havent been able to get the hang of ghant style charts, but that might be a case of me needing to use it more or look up a better tutorial.

it means i can run a team and they know that if they run into a roadblock on one project they can quickly see what other project they can swing over to.
Saves a lot of time and trouble changing between jobs, which unfortunately is just a part of the kind of work we do.
