What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of organizing information and having the ability to collaborate with other team members.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not anything in particular that I don't like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me and my team to effectively organize information and share and collaborate with one another on the same sheet in real time.
Reliable Collaboration Platform with Great Features
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Smartsheet is how easily it combines spreadsheet functionality with project management tools. It allows for real-time collaboration, automated workflows, and customizable views—all in one centralized platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally, managing complex formulas or cross-sheet references can be a bit tricky without advanced knowledge, but the platform’s flexibility and available support resources usually make up for it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps us manage student data, track articulation workflows, and coordinate with high school partners all in one place. It reduces manual tasks, improves communication, and ensures deadlines are met efficiently.

What do you like best about the product?
- collaboration is most helpful
- automation is also incredibly helpful. getting automatically notified by different data changes/inputs so that my team can take the subsequent actions needed is very helpful.

What do you dislike about the product?
- can't search column title names. In sheets where I have many columns but want to track down a specific column, I am unable to control F for the title of a column.
- can't create recurring reminders. having this feature would be extremely helpful. My team uses smartsheet to track ongoing tasks, several of which are recurring on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis. e.g. a report that is due at the end of each quarter. Having this feature would really improve our efficiency.
- I think it would be helpful to have more automation options
- it would be great if you could add a note to a specific cell
- it would be helpful if it operated a big more like excel, where you can have mulitple tabs of the same document

What do you like best about the product?
I love the pre-built templates provided by Smartsheet for Project Mgmt, Risk Mgmt, and other key areas that I'm continuously have to work in and build out. Very helpful...
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the automation coding could be simplified for non-tech users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automation and notification to team members during project management.
Tracking tool to manage tasks, resources, and documents
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can assign tasks to people in my organization and they receive automatic notifications. I can set due dates and I can track responses. I can also link documents. The tool also allows to create a schedule based on the input activities.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I have one task that lasts a long time it is difficult to capture all the updates and when they occur. I did that in Excel and am missing this feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of project action items and assigning them to the right ressources, which receive a notification even though they might miss the project meeting.

How it can easily shuttle data from other software.

I feel like it could be better user friendly took me some time to fully get confrontable using it.

consolidating information, and proving great dashboards.
Google Sheets, Excel, Power Bi and MORE in one application!
What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to enter data into a sheet and then with minimal tech on my part be able to translate that data into reports (view only and shareable for edit) as well as dashboards with graphs, images, text and more for presenting. I also really appreciate that there are templates and a Smartsheet University to assist me in learning and implementation as I create what is needed for the team and leadership.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I was able to personalize cells more: bold only certain words, hyperlink only certain text etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is allowing a multitude of information to be housed in one place and have the ability to utilize for various reports and presentations with ease of use and flow. Being able to have multiple team members create and edit the data at once is also very valuable.

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite feature on SmartSheet is the ability to view cell history details like who wrote what and when.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside of smartsheet is managing/re-strategizing systems that get bigger and bigger.

Providing a single space to manage, collaborate, and schedule projects from start to finish.
Project Management with Smartsheet
What do you like best about the product?
I love the feature of emailing right from Smartsheet to the assigned to person and they can answer my question and it populates smartsheet.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing! The only thing I dislike is that my company has locked down the use of links so we cannot share with htose outside our company collaborating on a project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps keep project work organized and easy to follow up with users. I also love that templates are included and the built in features allowing me to create a project plan quickly.
Good project management software, but if you are a MS Project power user you will get frustrated
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Smartsheet has put a spin on project management software and offers features outside of Gantt charts. For the standard user or a new user, Smartsheet will be amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
For someone who gets deep into dependencies and critical paths, this software might be frustrating for you. I find that when I list a dependency the dates lock and I am not able to change the dates on the dependent row. This is not realistic in real life, things do not happen immediately when they follow a consecutive order. I find because of these struggles I don't use Smartsheet as often.

I am using Smartsheet to track project development and status.
