What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is so helpful in organizing team for successful collaboration!

There are small features that i think will overall improve the user experience and it seems like they do everything but these small things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have teams that are in many places around the US and it helps us to connect with each other to complete business tasks.
Great for collaboration, automation, and project tracking capabilities!

Familiar Excel-like spreadsheets with support for formulas, conditional formatting, and cell linking.

What do you dislike about the product?
Cost: Higher-tier features can be expensive for small companies
Steep Learning Curve for Advanced Features: While basic usage is intuitive, mastering automation and dashboards can be difficult for some.

Smartsheets has helped our teams manage workflows when dealing with dealer set ups and onboarding.

The form creation ability has made the intake process for our team more efficient as well as using automations to coordinate with a variety of internal teams regarding the data received.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there should be more design options on the form creation process, without having to transition to dynamic.

I like the option to have automation workflows

It should have some basic worksheet functionality carried over but does not.
Also, the boxes for the automation workflows are impractically small and are not adjustable.
The address book seems to be from the company's entire contacts which means my most regular or used contacts are not always available. Also, contacts that we have once will remain rather than disappear.
It would be good to be able to assign colours to contacts rather than be automatically designated one.
No option to change the appearance of the date - example is wanting 14-Jun instead of 14-06-25

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have need a one stop shop for information and smartsheet provides a reasonable solution for this.
At the same time, that information has a lot of dated triggers and Smartsheet can send emails and request information from relevant parties automatically from the Automation workflows.
This is saving mental capacity and time. However, it is burdening to not other team members not understand how this works.

Smartsheet - The way forward for collaborative working
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is best for teams who want the flexibility of a spreadsheet but need project management structure, automation, and collaboration in a scalable platform
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet is powerful but can feel “too spreadsheet-like” or rigid for teams wanting dynamic Agile workflows or deeply customizable visuals.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Attach files, link to cloud storage, or add notes directly to rows.Keeps all project data, assets, and context in one place, reducing siloed information
Useful for tracking small projects. For complex projects, it can be tricky due to some limitations.

That you can create a report based on your source data and you can add custom fields with functions to the source file.

You are required to select a Jira project when creating a source sheet.
There are two main issues with this:
1. Lack of flexibility in project selection:
Sometimes I don't know in advance which Jira projects will be relevant to my work- often, multiple teams are involved in one project, and each team uses a different Jira project.
In EazyBI, for example, I can select the top-level hierarchy ticket and view all the linked tickets beneath them, regardless of which projects they belong to.
Note: I’m aware there’s an option to select all projects in Smartsheet, but this comes with limitations- both in the number of results returned and the fields available for selection- which makes it ineffective.
2. No option to update project selection post-setup:
Once the Jira projects are selected during the setup, there's no way to modify them. So if I forget to include a project, I need to create an entirely new source file just to add it- which is inefficient.

It is really easy to use, cuality price is good too

it is a bit basic, would be nice to be able to creat the cretical parts following your criterial, also couloring ...

What do you dislike about the product?
not many dislikes as i find it very useful but i do wish there was a notes facility where when you hover over the row it pops up to show the note.

it helps with paperwork as all tests are converted to forms the engineers fill out now. It also shows what stock we have and when things are ready to collect for the customer.
