Flexible, integrated workspaces
What do you like best about the product?
We really like Smartsheet's ability to automatically send requests for status updates. We also love how easy it is to create and manage forms and create dashboards. I personally appreciate all of the various integrations available in Smartsheet, especially the Microsoft Teams integration. We like that we can make dashboards publicly available to non-users.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that Account Owners had more visibility into the various workspaces and assets within the account. I do not like that some integrations cost additional money to actually get connected and configured. I wish that sheets would autosave. I wish the Homepage had a more modern/appealing user interface.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet allows us to create standard forms that get sent to a predetermined list of users when triggered by an event that we configure, and can easily track the status of actions and tasks. We are able to visualize data in a way that we weren't able to in Excel.
Efficiency Gold Mine
What do you like best about the product?
The automations, visuals, and easy of use makes bringing Efficiency a practical idea for every team member. All of our team members have been willing to learn and are interested in having this be a staple in our production everyday.
What do you dislike about the product?
No automatic Save... Please it would be so helpful

Our team can organize a funtional flow, communicate and set tasks for each other to better collaborate and function.
Collaboration to the Max
What do you like best about the product?
I really like using Smartsheet, especially compared to platforms like Excel. It’s much more interactive, which makes it a great tool for project teams. The collaboration features are solid, and it feels more dynamic than traditional spreadsheets.
One of my favorite features is the automation. I can set up workflows and triggers to make certain things happen automatically, which saves time and helps keep everything on track. The automation tools are more advanced than what Excel offers, and they’ve been a huge help in managing projects efficiently.

What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest downside is adoption. Smartsheet isn’t as widely used as other platforms, so it can be hard to get people on board if they’re not already familiar with it. That’s not really the platform’s fault, but it does make it harder to roll out across a team.
Also, linking sheets together can be a bit tricky. It’s easy for someone to accidentally break a connection if they don’t fully understand how it works, which can cause confusion or errors in the data.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is solving a few key problems for me, especially when it comes to team collaboration and project visibility. One of the biggest challenges in managing projects is keeping everyone on the same page without overwhelming them with emails or scattered spreadsheets. Smartsheet addresses that by giving teams a centralized, interactive workspace where multiple people can contribute, update, and track progress in real time without stepping on each other’s toes.

What do you like best about the product?
Great for Scrum work and tracking sprint work, assigning to multiple users etc
What do you dislike about the product?
Not very intuitive for end users, a lot of confusing admin settings and not a create SSO path from Okta to Smartsheet with user groups and permissions
We don't love how Smartsheet doesn't feel intuitive for end users when updating dashboards and saving information. We find that we edit things and it doesn't auto save and causes confusion for people who are living in the same Smartsheet. We might need more internal information on how to really utilize smartsheet

Scheduling lacks some capabilities that other SW offer which makes it hard to fully utilize.

I like how collaborative Smartsheet is and the overall user-experience. It's easy to use with other users and accessible.

Some features feel limited unless you upgrade to higher-tier plans, and the learning curve for advanced functions like formulas or reports can be steep. It can also become a bit cluttered or overwhelming when managing very large projects.

Smartsheet helps solve issues with disorganized workflows, lack of visibility, and poor communication across teams. By centralizing project timelines, tasks, and updates in one platform, it keeps everything clear and accessible. This saves time, reduces errors, and makes it easier to stay on track and aligned with deadlines.
Useful tool for business applications
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is a lot simpler to get working with than MS Project, but provides very capable project management functionality, coupled with Kanban-style views so that from the same dataset the PM can take a "project-oriented" view while the engineers / team members can take a "task-oriented" view. Reports and Dashboards then let us take a view across multiple projects and task lists.
The pricing model is cost-effective too, as the team members can generally be invited as Collaborators rather than needing a licence each.
The system is pretty powerful, with the ability to use formulas, column formulas (a bit like Excel Tables), and Automation.
Integration with other tools via Export to Excel has also been useful for us.

There are some limitations in the Automation features.
Some of the Excel-like features are annoyingly not quite the same as the Excel near equivalents, which can cause confusion.

Effective and Efficient solution for Business
What do you like best about the product?
Agility and Flexibility to generate data analysis and create templates as per your need.
What do you dislike about the product?
Loading of backend smartsheets is kind of slow taking time to complete the things like creating dashboards slower

I am able to generate review and analyse the data generated through programs implemented creating the results for better working and continuous improvement of teams.
