Key for Streamling Processes
What do you like best about the product?
It acts as a funnel for information for our team. I mostly use it for forms, which significantly reduces back and forth communication via email.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customer Service will ask you for a list of screenshots to "help" with automation, but then someone else will ask for the same list. They do this until you're too tired to continue, so they never actually end up helping.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it as a document library, where we can have folks upload documents to the form with a few questions for classification purposes. It also allows us to ensure we have all of the information we need up front and it all comes through the form in the same format.
Overall useful tool
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to create forms based on sheets, the ease of sharing and allowing multiple editors. I haven't used it much aside from grid form.
What do you dislike about the product?
Inability to create multiple sheets within one file
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For my purposes as an administrative assistant, the form is incredibly useful for getting information from people in a quick, organized, and efficient matter. Having a link that allows people to open the form and then populates the information into a table saves me a significant amount of time and energy.
Easy to use but hard to get support
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Smartsheet combines the familiarity of a spreadsheet with powerful project management tools, making it easy to collaborate in real time,assign tasks, set deadlines, and monitor progress, automate workflows in one central place.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Smartsheet is their customer service, which can be difficult to reach and often feels slow to respond. This lack of timely support can be frustrating, especially when urgent issues arise and quick assistance is needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet solves the problem of scattered project information and disjointed team communication by providing a centralised platform where all tasks, deadlines, and updates are visible in real time. This helps me stay organised and aligned with my team, reduces the risk of missed deadlines, and improves overall efficiency. By automating workflows and offering easy collaboration tools, it saves time and ensures everyone is on the same page throughout the project lifecycle.

What do you like best about the product?
From my experience, Smartsheet offers the most user-friendly interface for real-time collaboration among groups working on the same projects. What I appreciate most is the ability to selectively share specific sheets or pieces of information across different levels of my organization, which helps maintain the confidentiality of my projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
The excel shape and format. I know it is a sheet; however, how can Smartsheet be little bit different from Excel?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is solving several key problems related to team collaboration and information sharing across different levels of an organization. It enables real-time collaboration on shared projects, which helps eliminate communication silos and ensures that everyone stays aligned. Additionally, its ability to control access to specific sheets or data helps maintain project confidentiality, allowing me to securely share only what's relevant with the right stakeholders. This flexibility not only streamlines my workflow but also enhances transparency and trust within the organization.
Great for providing overviewers to senior leaders
What do you like best about the product?
I like that its easy for users to transition from excel, so they dont experience any issues using it for things they already do, but on top of that I get more powerful reporting and dashboards for my projects and clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is extremely repetitive to add conditional formatting to multiple columns one by one, and having a heatmap feature like excel would help to highlight issues or progress.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work on a very large projects, over multiple markets, and it lets me look at the headlines very quickly and collaborate with my colleauges in other countries.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is very useful in both large and small businesses. It allows seamless access for who is registered. And has no limitations on how many people you can add. It helps me with scheduling, as I manage the shipping and Receiving department in my company.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have nothing, as everything is use it for has been perfect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the hassle of using excel shit to do scheduling, with smartsheet, everyone can see who is booked in without needing send email or call other departments.
My experience with Smartsheet has been nothing short of amazing.
What do you like best about the product?
From product itself to the support from their professional services consultants, everything has been great. I've been getting the solutions I need in real time. It's been so nice to talk to someone, tell them what I need, and have them come up with the answer and implement right away.
What do you dislike about the product?
I kind of wish there was a way to easily archive data, or create multiple "tabs" in one document so that I can separate different fiscal years worth of information while keeping them on one project. It get's a little hard to keep track of all of the Smartsheets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently, they are helping us keep track of our content calendar and email scheduling & assignments. They've created dashboards for us to easily help us see the metrics coming from those sheets in a visually appealing and easy to read way.

Flexible work flows and presentation of data.

New pricing makes it unaffordable to many.

Digitization and collaboration of previously manual siloed processes.
Definitely getting better with latest releases
What do you like best about the product?
I like the AI adoption tools and the improvements that have been made, which have allowed easier for graph creation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to do as good a pivot charts like in excel. It would be nice if we could add a secondary axis to charts to show additional data points in one chart.
