Good organizational tool, lacks calculated functionality.
What do you like best about the product?
It has good collaboration capabilities and allows multiple people to work together very easily. It also helps in simple checklists and conditional formatting.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet does tend to struggle with formulas and more extravagant spreadsheets. We use excel for complicated formulas and Smartsheet for lists and checking things off. It tends to perform better as an organizational tool then a calculating tool
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps with our organizational issues and helps to maintain some order in the chaos of a construction site. It helps to perform our job correctly and ensuring all aspects needed are captured.

What do you like best about the product?
The future of reporting! Love the ease of sharing data amongst customers, team members and all stakeholders in one location. Automation within the platform provides instant notification of new updates, action items and task completion. The combined features in Smartsheet has replaced other platforms for daily use in reporting status updates, sharing photo's and can be displayed via simplified dashboards. Smartsheet University has tons of instructional videos and their Customer Support is top notch and highly responsive. Smartsheet is a Game Changer!
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest downside is the subscription but it is well worth the costs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet provides a one stop shop for Project Management, providing status updates and photos to internal and external stakeholders with ease.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to collaborate with others. I can share updates with multiple people, organize tasks, track progress without needing separate tools. It's super convenient, especially when managing a project. The automation and visual tools also help me understand what's going on at a glance-great for saving time.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that bothers me is that sometimes reporting feels a bit limited. for example, I often end up exporting data into excel because smartsheet doesn't fully support the kind of reporting or sheet-based summaries I need directly within the app. It would be great to have more dynamic and sheet-based reporting options built right in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Networking and collaboration have become so much easier with smartsheet. I really appreciate how it helps me to manage multiple projects, tasks and deadlines all in one place. It saves me from the back and forth of checking different tools or chasing updates.

What do you like best about the product?
In project management it's very useful to cover masterplan with warning (automated) and status progression
What do you dislike about the product?
Still not fully usable due to missing functionalities like multiple baseline to identify project delays, here we should have the possibility to add multiple baseline and track deltas vs original plan.

clear visibility on project status of each task, automated reminders to task owners

I use it for creating Project Plans. I like the prerequisites feature best.

I can't think of anything I particularly dislike.

I can't say I'm an expect but Smartsheet does a good job of creating project plans.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is incredibly helpful for managing product launches. It gives me full flexibility to structure the project however I need (whether that’s through Gantt charts, grids, or dashboards) and I can present information in different formats depending on the audience. The best part is how clearly it lays out responsibilities and timelines. Everyone on the team knows exactly what they need to do and when, which keeps things moving smoothly. The automation features are also a big time-saver.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform can feel clunky at times, especially when working with large or complex sheets. It’s not always easy to move quickly or make bulk changes, and some actions take more steps than they should. Also, for reporting to work well (like pulling all your assigned tasks into one view) every sheet across the org has to be configured in a very consistent way. That can be hard to maintain across teams or projects unless you’re really strict about templates and governance.

Smartsheet helps solve the challenge of keeping cross-functional teams aligned during complex product launches. Before using it, we struggled with scattered information, unclear ownership, and too many disconnected tools. Now, everything lives in one place (timelines, tasks, documents, and updates) which makes it much easier to manage moving parts and keep everyone on the same page.
It also helps with visibility and accountability. I can quickly see where things stand, who’s responsible for what, and where we might be falling behind. Automations reduce the need for constant follow-ups, and reporting features make it easier to share progress with leadership. Overall, it’s helped us run launches more smoothly and with fewer surprises.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Smartshares every day, and it’s become an essential part of my workflow. It brings all the data I need into one place, which saves time and eliminates the hassle of switching between systems. The interface is intuitive, and collaborating with colleagues is seamless—whether we're reviewing reports, checking updates, or working through compliance tasks. It’s made my job as a Compliance & Risk Analyst much more efficient and connected.

I use Smartshares daily, and while I initially found it a bit tricky to navigate, I’ve now become familiar with the layout and features. It’s made a big difference in how I work—having all the data I need in one place saves time and reduces errors.

Smartshares has significantly improved how I work day-to-day. While it took a bit of time to get used to the interface, I now rely on it daily. It centralizes all the data I need, which means less time spent searching and more time focused on analysis. One of the biggest benefits is how it solves collaboration challenges—everyone can access the same information, updates are visible in real time, and it's easy to coordinate with colleagues. It’s streamlined our processes and made my role as a Compliance & Risk Analyst much more efficient.
