Awesome!
What do you like best about the product?
I have to say that smartsheets is awesome!! It makes scheduling and payroll tracking a breeze. I was asked by my coworker to review this because it makes our daily task so SIMPLE! We love using smart sheets.
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly have no problems with the platform. Big kudos all around!!

Payroll management and scheduling.
Smartsheets is pretty awewome
What do you like best about the product?
We use it in many different ways including work order submission and tracking which is what I am reviewing it for. It is really simple to use and my scheduler sent this to me to review to show y'all how simple smartsheets is for even us tenichians in the field to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is limited when you sign up for a free plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving organization and it benefits me by saving me time and money as a contractor.
Gets the job done
What do you like best about the product?
I feel like Smartsheets is a much more user friendly, yet still robust, step up from Excel. It was fairly easy to learn how to use, and also appreciate that it is web-based, so I can use it on the go - whether on my work laptop, or to quickly access something off hours. My company mainly uses Smartsheet for collaboration, as well as organizing, keeping track, and managing tasks and projects. I can be as simple or complicated as necessary.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like certain functions to be more readily available or accessible, such as formulas, row/column organization, ect. The formatting is straight forward, but some of the other more used functions could be more front and center.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Smartsheet for what feels like everything. Not only do we use it for Project Management, but we also use if for collaboration, housing documentation and workflows, and even various tasks and timelines. It's allowing us to have everything organized in one system, that is easy to share across teams and departments.

What do you like best about the product?
1. Easy to set up automation and communication between multiple sheets.
2. The homepage makes organizing and accessing sheets straightforward.
3. Sharing sheets with multiple users is easy; an added bonus is if multiple users are using the same sheet simultaneously updates are processed in a manner that doesn't interrupt the work of other users.

What do you dislike about the product?
1. If I am using an automation to move a line of data from one sheet to another, I cannot customize where that data is entered on the new sheet. I have to manually organize my data after the fact.
2. When using a form, I frequently run into an issue where I cannot submit the form. A forced refresh of the page, which requires entering all the data again, is required to submit. I originally thought this was happened if I left the page open too long without any user input, but I have had this happen several times without that being the case.
3. I have had a rare issue when using automation to move data from one sheet to another where the data will be removed from sheet 1, but never show up on sheet 2. I have not been able to reproduce this issue with consistency.

1. Keeping track of time sensitive tasks by sending out automated alerts about upcoming deadlines.
2. Forms has allowed us to easily process user submissions regarding inventory requests. This has improved our ability to fulfill requests on time but also keep a history of all requests/fulfillment.
3. The ability to easily track a projects progression as it passes through multiple departments. Smartsheet allows us to not only track who is currently working on a project by assigning a user to a specific line, but also move that data to related sheets as tasks are completed.

Short review of Smartsheet
What do you like best about the product?
I work with a lot of PMs and technical teams. Lately, I've been building sheets and automations for our Legal teams as well. Smartsheet is very useful as a supplementary tool for us. We're really enjoying the Smartsheet Jira connector as some of our teams primarily use Jira to track details on the technical work. Smartsheet provides a layer that is easy for the non technical team to digest from a high level. The straightforward automations also makes it easy for them to supplement their current process without introducing a steep learning curve. For our more technical teams, they are certainly enjoying their custom integrations.
What do you dislike about the product?
The requirement of licenses to edit Smartsheet has incurred a heavy cost and so we've had to revisit how we'd have to use the tool going forward.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A lot of the leadership here are used to seeing things in a graph/sheet view so Smartsheet provides a familiar sense where they can quickly digest a lot of info at a glance.

Smartsheet is a flexible and adaptable solution that can be tailored to a wide range of use cases. We successfully built out intake and project management templates to help standardize project workflows and reporting within Commercial Services. It’s user-friendly, easy to learn, and has made it easier for our team to collaborate and stay aligned on priorities.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the frequent changes to enterprise functionality and permissions, which have disrupted our workflows—especially recent limitations on non-licensed user access that have undermined Smartsheet's value as a collaborative tool.

A powerful documentation library and user interface experience
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is easy to use and the features are intuitive. I have repeatedly built dashboards, data repositories, and self-service tools to help teams of professionals better organize their data. We were able to link the information with other tools so it fit harmoniously in our environment, and it was easily searchable/sortable to find the relevant information quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to see Smartsheet continue to build on the functionality in creating dashboards, more diagram types, more options to intuitively connect information from other workbooks to the user interface. The formulas and calculated fields can also be burdensome, perhaps if you were prompted about data points that you might be interested in tracking based on how information was entered in a smartsheet. For example if I'm creating a CRM in smartsheet, how frequently do I convert sales, how many interactions does it take at each phase, etc, those can be created manually, but perhaps like the templates SmartSheet shares there can be metrics that organizations use to track performance that can be shared too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
So we work supporting the federal government, when the government decides to purchase a product or a service they will issue a request for proposals. We use smartsheet to store the requests for proposals, which is helpful because we can detail important information about the file like which agency has the need, how did they classify the need, what type of contract do the want, and we can store all the files in one row. So over time we can make comparisons around buyer behavior, how they frame requirements, etc. to build a deeper understanding of what they're asking for vs what they actually want.

What do you like best about the product?
If you have a team working within tracking documents, Smartsheet makes it easy to collaborate and allows multiple people to edit simultaneously. We use it for our marketing team to track projects, keeps calendars and create complex and simple intake forms.
What do you dislike about the product?
It used to be a reasonably cost effective way to collaborate and project manage. With the recent buyout and pricing changes, it is no longer affordable. We had to significantly scale back on how we use it and who can use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a tool that allows multiple people to work within a sheet at the same time without causing issues or losing/overwriting information. It allows for the development of portals to make it easy to find like Smartsheets for a project or however you need to organize your sheets.

What do you like best about the product?
I wanted to highlight some of the key features that truly differentiate Smartsheet from other platforms we've considered. Its robust reminder functionality is incredibly helpful for keeping projects on track and ensuring deadlines are met. Additionally, the intuitive dashboard layout provides a clear and customizable overview of project progress and key metrics, which I find very valuable.
Another significant advantage is the seamless interaction between different sheets, which simplifies data management and streamlines workflows. Furthermore, the granular permission settings, even for external collaborators, offer a high level of control and security when working with individuals outside our organization. These features combined make Smartsheet a powerful and flexible tool.

What do you dislike about the product?
Compared to Monday.com, the platform is less intuitive and not as user-friendly, especially for new or occasional users. Navigating the interface and understanding the structure can be challenging without prior training or guidance. When it comes to building complex sheets or detailed project plans that involve multiple steps, dependencies, or formulas, the process can become time-consuming and frustrating without support. Furthermore, one of the key limitations is the absence of a real-time, live-update feature. Changes made by other team members are not instantly visible unless the page is manually refreshed or saved, which can hinder collaboration and lead to confusion or duplicated efforts
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The platform is used to track various tasks and deliver real-time project status updates through its dashboard feature. It is also helping purchasing to track and navigate with all vendors and makes it easier to follow up.
