Very great platform to create projects
What do you like best about the product?
love the communication aspects. i am able to see what my co-workers have completed

there is no down side that i have encountered, yet.

it helps the team gather information that is constantly moving. Projects that are moving along or are struggling. keeps us in line

I like that its great for keeping organized and Project Management. I like the different type of sheets and ways to keep organized and collaborate with your team.

Lots to update and you need to remember to update.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how I am able to connect multiple sheets, control who can edit and who cannot, create a workspace that easily houses all my information and create dashboards that highlight the info in the sheet without having to dive into it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a tab function, it would make it easier to quickly toggle between sheets in certain situations as opposed to the workspace option.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps me solve issues from converting data, easily displaying information to different areas of our business and keeping my team organized. It has supported in streamlining processes and incorporating AI has made it so much easier to create when I don't know where to start.

What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to have a running conversation in the comments especially with the attachments readily available. You can also add a link in the comments for a supplemental reference from another sheet.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting can be a bit more difficult if you're not as familiar with how to set your grid up correctly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a one stop shop for our entire team to have access to status, references, approvals, photos, etc.

I have yet to discover any downsides to Smartsheet.

Again, there is such ease with sharing information with a group of other people.

What do you like best about the product?
I really value how easy it is to organize and monitor project milestones using customizable views like timelines and kanban boards. Smartsheet makes collaboration smooth with features like real-time updates, task assignments, and in-platform commenting, which keeps teams aligned and workflows clear. The ability to create visual dashboards also helps track progress without much manual setup.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, Smartsheet can be slow to load when managing larger or more complex projects. Integrations with other tools require additional setup and aren’t always as seamless as expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps solve the challenge of managing multiple projects, tasks, and deadlines in a clear and organized way. It reduces time spent tracking project progress manually by centralizing updates, timelines, and task assignments in one place. For me, it improves team coordination, keeps key milestones visible, and makes it easier to spot delays or bottlenecks before they become issues—ultimately saving time and improving project delivery.

Smart Sheets creates charts and graphs that link to other sheets which makes things more organized because everything is in one place.

I cannot have more than one tab for each sheet

It is keeping all the information in one place
Great for Established Companies
What do you like best about the product?
It makes Excel much more user-friendly. For those who aren’t Excel experts, it’s easier to understand and use. Once set up, the dashboards and graphics are great for presentations and are especially helpful for visual learners. It was easy for our staff to get on board and see the value.
What do you dislike about the product?
One limitation of Smartsheet is that it could benefit from more templates and greater flexibility within some of the sheets. This would make it easier to customize and adapt to a variety of companies. Smartsheet seems better suited for larger, more established companies that require frequent collaboration. For smaller companies like ours, where collaboration is minimal, there’s often a need for more detailed, tailored solutions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Develop a version or mode tailored for individual users or small teams where collaboration is minimal but data management and reporting are key.
