an excellent tool that provides opportunities for innovation and quick development of new solutions to create cost savings and efficiencies

max rows constraint, importing excel sheets only permits first sheet only

provides executive dashboards easily to privde KPIs to board members, workflows can be automated to ensure compliance of certs ie. iso 9001 for approved supplier register, provides shared and secure access to stakeholders
Great tool for creating appealing Gantt charts in collaboration with colleagues and clients.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and a great tool for creating project plan in collaboration with others.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some clients can't access the plans I create. It needs more controls on the timeline presentation (i.e. years, quarters etc..) in the same way that MS Project allows you to do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I need to create detailed plans with a range of clients.

Project tracking and gant charts are one of the best features.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it needs more of a Trello or Monday view to it. Something a little more bubbly and drag and drop in tile/board view.

Great tool, sometimes a little confusing to navigate but very robust.

There are so many capabilities - from complex conditioning on fields, break outs of calendars, goals, project management tools.

It's different from excel just enough that I sometimes get confused or have a hard time navigating/adding new things in the way I envisioned. This is probably user error that I need to maybe watch some tutorials, it's not as intuitive as I thought

Dynamically navigating complex projects and tasks with my team.
We can have a chat going on every single line item separately, easily adding screenshots, I can make custom status tags and have emails with comments immediately send out to my team as I update the shared spreadsheet with them

Reliable Platform With Room for UX and Process Improvements
What do you like best about the product?
The platform has been a consistent and dependable tool for project management within our department. Unlike others we’ve used in the past—which suffered from frequent outages and stability issues—this one has been remarkably stable, allowing our teams to stay productive without unexpected disruptions. The learning curve is also reasonable; new users can get up to speed relatively quickly without extensive training.
What do you dislike about the product?
The layout and user experience could be significantly improved. Compared to more modern tools like Jira or Azure DevOps, the interface feels overly simplistic and lacks polish. While it offers some automation features, they’re not as intuitive or robust as other platforms. Additionally, maintaining consistency across teams is challenging. For instance, where platforms like Jira offer standardized epics and stories that teams can easily reference and tag, this tool allows for too much variation in naming and structure, which often leads to confusion and misalignment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet has provided a consistent and reliable platform for managing our projects, which has been a significant benefit in my current role. It allows our team to stay aligned on tasks, timelines, and priorities without the disruptions I've encountered with other tools in past roles.
The platform is also relatively easy to learn, which helps streamline onboarding and ensures new users can contribute quickly. While there’s room for improvement in layout and standardization, Smartsheet still gives us a centralized space to track progress, share updates, and keep work organized across multiple stakeholders.

Good tool for project management
What do you like best about the product?
It helps our team stay connected and organized while giving leadership line of sight of upcoming deliverables, timing and progress.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tiny complaint about the UI, the way we have our pick lists set up for table view, I can't always tab over with my current selection being captured. it's just a touch finnicky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a dedicated space to track deliverables and many different discrete attributes of them. It gave us a singular place to document what's in the pipeline, progress thereof as well as topline dashboard for leadership to have line of sight.

What do you like best about the product?
In my work, it is very helpful to have a shared document where colleagues can all make updates to the same document at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish changes would save automatically (versus having to manually click file, save).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is solving the problem of not allowing multiple users to edit a single document at once. In my work, there are projects that multiple colleagues are working on at once. Being able to make updates to the document in real time so others are aware of the status's of tasks, what still needs to get done, etc. is super helpful in our day to day work.

This product is fantastic!! We use it in so many different ways, scheduling, payroll, milage tracking, etc.

Notifications are sometimes delayed to send.

Honestly, too many to describe! Smartheets is AMAZING!!

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has a great capacity to make your work more intuitive; the workspaces you can create can be easily managed, and it is a great tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
On some occasions, it takes too much time to refresh or update information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes it easy to identify changes, and it takes less time to get things done on my end.
It's convenient to organize notes that can easily be shared with team members.
What do you like best about the product?
It's a convenient place to organize and track project lists, notes, action items, milestones. Each team member can update independently but everyone can see what is happening at any time. Files and photos can also easily be shared across the team or even outside organization members.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having to log-in online each time. An app might be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easily keeps a great tracking list of all the different projects our team is working on and their different stages.
