Smartsheet’s Flexibility Makes Collaboration Effortless
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Smartsheet is how flexible it is and how much it simplifies collaboration with others.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Smartsheet is that it can feel a bit complex for a new user, and some of the more advanced features aren’t very intuitive at first.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It keeps everything in one place, which makes it much easier to track work, stay organized, and collaborate smoothly with my team.
Unmatched speed and precision with Smartsheet
What do you like best about the product?
I love the speed of execution and the ability to handle complex issues in Smartsheet. I also like the precision, design, and ease of use. Setting up Smartsheet was easy and excellent.

I use Smartsheet to solve complex problems, and what I like about it is the speed of execution. I also appreciate the accuracy, design, and ease of use.
Customer Support No Longer Exists and No Longer Small-Business Friendly
What do you like best about the product?
Nothing anymore. They used to appreciate small businesses and curtail their services to companies of any size, but that is no longer the case. They do not care about a company that pays for fewer than 15 paid members.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their SEVERE lack of customer service, and blatantly ignoring support that a customer needs because the problem has become too difficult or because it's no longer worth their time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They were TRYING to help my company move from an annual paid business membership to a monthly paid membership. Doing this would have resulted in more money for them in the long run. But once they figured out that EVENTUALLY (6+ months), we were going to move away from SmartSheets altogether, they stopped helping and just ignored all emails asking for help. This process should have been extremely simple. We've had virtual meetings, exchanged emails for 3.5 MONTHS, and have had the issue (supposedly) 'upgraded' to a higher-up individual on 3 separate occasions -- and yet, still no resolution. Apparently, if you want any meaningful help with your account (technical or administrative) while already being an established Smartsheets customer, you have to pay MORE for any level of 'technical support'.
Frustrating Billing Experience Outweighs Usability
What do you like best about the product?
I use Smartsheet for Marketing Project Management. It helps me track my marketing campaigns and events and share the information amongst multiple teams. I like that it is easy to use and similar to Excel but with more functionality. Tracking when tasks are complete helps me stay on track. The initial setup of Smartsheet was easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their customer service and hidden terms are horrible. I was recently charged for 14 users when I am just one. I issued multiple complaints and they hid behind terms that I never saw nor knew where they were. I couldn't get anyone on the phone to discuss. I tried using their support chat, but it was just a bot who couldn't help with anything. When I finally got someone via email they didn't help nor did they offer me any type of refund. My Smartsheet payments go to an account I don't access regularly, so I didn't see it until I was overcharged over $1000 dollars. Horrifying experience. Their policy is no refunds. Billing practices need to be clearer and they need to prompt users when they make changes that will impact costs. I had shared Smartsheets with users with edit modes that weren't under my plan and then suddenly they were. When I added people there was no prompt telling me that I would be charged more.

Customizable Projects That Make Tracking Easier
What do you like best about the product?
Can customize projects and track things more easily

The ability to toggle between different projects could be easier

Easy Spreadsheet Sharing, But Pricey Compared to MSExcel
What do you like best about the product?
An easy to use platform to share spreadsheet and data development.
What do you dislike about the product?
Expensive for what it does, functionality is duplicated by MSExcel.

Data entry from multiple departments rolling into a larger report.
Smartsheet: The Perfect Bridge Between Spreadsheets and Databases
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is widely considered one of the most helpful work management tools because it bridges the gap between the simplicity of a spreadsheet and the power of a database.
What do you dislike about the product?
No Autosave: This is arguably the most "least helpful" feature. You must manually click Save to see changes or for others to see your updates. If you forget and close the tab, your work can be lost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Single Source of Truth: Everyone works on the same live sheet simultaneously.
Audit Trails: You can see exactly who changed a specific cell and when, reducing accountability gaps and manual errors.

Spreadsheet Familiarity with Collaborative Power
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the spreadsheet style of work management in Smartsheet. It looks familiar to a spreadsheet, but each row can represent a particular task, project activity, or a process step. You can really add more columns to it for status, owner, deadlines, priority, etcetera, as per our requirement. With just a single click of a button, we can add, change, and edit everything, and it changes for everyone. It helps to collaborate better across different teams and departments.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it's a really good tool overall, but sometimes Smartsheet does lag a bit and does not update in real time, which could be tricky for other team members working across different geographies or different markets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Smartsheet to plan projects and timelines, assign tasks, track progress, automate workflows, and collaborate across various departments.
Makes Scheduling Experiments and Requesting Samples Effortless
What do you like best about the product?
This tool helps me to schedule experiments, experiment tasks, and request samples from another team.

1) 2 persons can write at the same time without getting intimation. We should get real time update
2) Some features which were available with free plan before December 2025 are no longer available. It would be good to have those features again
