Impressive Spreadsheet Tool That Covers the Essentials
What do you like best about the product?
The real-time collaboration feature was incredibly smooth and reliable- it made team editing and version control far easier than in Excel.
What do you dislike about the product?
Advanced data visualization options felt limited - especially when trying to create dynamic charts or dashboards beyond the basics
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a project and work manager, this software helps streamline how my team tracks timelines, budgets, and task dependencies across multiple projects. It reduces the chaos of version control by allowing everyone to work in the same file simultaneously- which is a huge time-saver during fast-paced planning sessions. I also rely on it for centralized data management and quick reporting, which improves transparency with stakeholders and helps me make faster, data-informed decisions.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has allowed us to automate our internal business processes, from new account onboarding to the creation of new project plans, allowing all parts of the business to focus on making decisions rather than what is the next part of the process.
Its easy to use interface and recognisable formula structure has allowed people to move from using standalone spreadsheets over to an inter-connected and open tool with few problems

What do you dislike about the product?
People with lower computer literacy can be overwhelmed at first when presented by the vast number of uses the tool can be put to, but with a little time and support they can make use of Smartsheet increasing their efficiency.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Account Onboarding automation - greater speed of onboarding, more consistency and greater knowledge of customers and suppliers

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is a solid tool that we use for project management in our company. I work with it on a daily basis and appreciate its simplicity and ease of use. While it may not have all the advanced features of some other platforms, it does a great job covering the essentials.
What do you dislike about the product?
We’ve faced some challenges with its add-ons. We use Resource Manager, but in our experience, it still feels underdeveloped and would benefit from additional polish to be truly solid.
We’ve also tried the Jira Connector and Data Shuttle in the past, but both lacked the flexibility our team needed to integrate them into our workflows.
Additionally, it's disappointing that EU users don’t have access to the same range of templates available to users in the US. This limitation feels unnecessarily restrictive and unfair.

Smartsheet helps us manage multiple new product development projects across our company. It allows us to address resource allocation challenges, stay organized, and keep track of timelines and deliverables. The platform also makes it easy to provide clear, up-to-date data to stakeholders, which improves transparency and decision-making.
Small but Powerful

Great for registers, forms are good, not to hard to learn. excel for words basically

complex formulas are a bit rough, app is clunky. cant zoom on sheets ?!?

Register such as HSE, Business Risk, Training Matrices, smart sheets can send you reminders which reduces mental load

the licensing structure is very confusing and customer support has been challenging unless were at a top tier license. All customers should be able to talk to a person when experiencing tech difficulties

I love how easy it is to keep everything organized in one place. The automation and reminders save me a ton of time, and it’s super helpful for keeping my team on track without a million emails.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the features can be a little tricky to figure out at first, especially the more advanced stuff like automations and formulas. It’s powerful, but there’s definitely a learning curve.

It helps me keep track of projects, deadlines, and team tasks all in one place. Before, things would slip through the cracks or get lost in email threads—now it’s way easier to stay organized and make sure everyone’s on the same page.

Smartsheet is very easy to use and combines the flexibility of a spreadsheet with the power of a project management tool. I especially like Smartsheet’s automation features - they help eliminate manual tasks, save time, and keep our team consistently organized.

Certain features require more training. This in not necessarily a bad thing but does take time.

Smartsheet helps us stay organized, reduce manual work, and keep projects on track. The automation features save us time by handling routine tasks like reminders and status updates. It’s made our team more efficient and helps everyone stay on the same page.
Although it took some time to learn all the features I needed, its a helpful way to plan projects.
What do you like best about the product?
Dividing projects into different workflows each with different subtasks, and having that all connected to the timelines is very useful. It is so useful to have the feature that links dates so if one date changes, all the rest follow accordingly.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can import the info to make ppt gannt charts, but it would be nice if you could make clean, simple looking gannt charts automatically within smartsheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Giving us a space where all of the team can contribute and adjust the expected timeline of our work and see how everyone else's responsibilities are progressing.

I like the forms option to be able to track different things across the organization. I also like the ability for conditional formatting of rows to help visually know where things stand.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some things are more difficult to navigate.
