Collaborative and Efficient
What do you like best about the product?
One source data, different layout view for data
What do you dislike about the product?
Filtering can sometimes be complicated then necessary. If you did not want to export report and wanted to do a quick Copy and Paste from smartsheet to email it comes in text not table format, cannot copy column titles either. Access Issues relating to user privileges can be tricky to figure out sometimes. Workspace organisation can be improved - when working across multiple regions the long list of workspaces can be overwhelming. If you could organise these into your own folders would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collating multiple source data across cusotmers/suppliers/regions. Standardising practice and highlighting gaps. Efficiency in turnaround of data.
Smartsheet is the main tool four our business
What do you like best about the product?
The main positive thing about Smartsheet is that you can use it for any area of your business - it has tools, automations and reports for any type of activity that you undertake in your business.
I use it at the moment to track activity of the team, to track any HR related business, to track sales, etc.
The whole team is using it daily because of the ease of use and the number of features that can be automated.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside I can see is that it takes a while to automate the whole process but is achievable in the end and you only have to do this once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All of my problems - i have the whole business workflow automated in Smartsheet

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has been a solid addition to our workflow—it’s flexible enough to handle project tracking, task management, and even light automation. I really appreciate how easy it is to collaborate across teams and keep everyone aligned without needing a ton of training. The templates and integrations save time, and the ability to customize dashboards helps us stay focused on what matters. There are a few quirks with permissions and reporting, but overall, it’s been a reliable tool that fits well into our day-to-day operations.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Smartsheet is great for collaboration and flexibility, there are a few areas that could be improved. The permission settings can be a bit clunky, especially when managing access across multiple sheets or teams. Reporting features feel limited compared to more advanced BI tools, and building complex dashboards sometimes requires workarounds. Also, performance can lag a bit with larger sheets or heavy formulas.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet has helped solve a few key challenges for our team—mainly around project visibility, task coordination, and keeping cross-functional efforts aligned. Before using it, we struggled with version control and scattered updates across email and spreadsheets. Now, we can centralize timelines, automate reminders, and track progress in real time, which has definitely improved accountability and reduced manual follow-ups. It’s made it easier to keep projects moving and stakeholders informed without needing a full-blown PM tool.
Effortless Organization and Timely Execution
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Smartsheet is the view. It allows users to easily see which tasks they have assigned so they can complete their assignments in a timely manner. I also enjoy how you can group tasks under different sections. This allows the user to be able to easily find different tasks by going to the correct section without having to read through a whole list of tasks that might not pertain to them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes setting the predecessors is difficult and it takes a little more time than necessary to figure it out. If there could be a simpler way to set the predecessors this would be very helpful. I also dislike that if there is more than one person assigned to a task you can't tell which of the people assigned to the task have completed it unless you ask outside of smartsheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smarthsheet allows you to quickly identify your tasks that are due, and you are able to customize the view so you can see certain time periods and know when you have to complete the task by. It also allows you to see who is responsible for other tasks so if there is a client question about a specific data set I can use smarthsheet to determine the best person to reach out about it.
Second Nature Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
Not only is Smartsheet easy to learn, it is your best friend once you know how to use it. It has become second nature for me to use it across the board in my reviews. I currently manage over 10 sheets and a dashboard, I utilize it's gantt feature for project timeline planning, and I love being able to assign tasks to my coworkers to maintain accountability on core tasks and deadlines. I was taught the basic formulas but I have been able to go so far thanks to the AI function of describing what you need the formula to do for you. It's also been easy to show my colleagues and new employees how to utilize them. I have become an avid user of Smartsheet and also a point of contact within my team when anyone has questions. Smartsheet has become the backbone of our project management.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like the latest edits to the Dashboard visualization. I dislike the smaller font, and the fact that you now have to hover to see all the other features within one same chart. I think in terms of visualization, the older model was way better. I don't find that the updates have added any real value in functionality or aesthetic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main issue its solving is cross-collaboration. In big projects, where you're working with external consultants for all types of tasks, it is helpful to have SS because it's a place where they can go to get information, know when things are in their court and when they're due, without the need of meetings etc. It's benefitting me by being able to make visuals that speak for themselves with KPIs and key analytics on project status and health.

Empowers Collaboration, Needs Better Salesforce Integration
What do you like best about the product?
I find Smartsheet incredibly effective in enhancing collaboration with customers. We use it to share sheets, allowing customers to make notes, send messages, and track their project plans and milestones. The workspaces feature is particularly useful, facilitating seamless collaboration by enabling customers to add their own issues and communicate directly through Smartsheet.
What do you dislike about the product?
I face challenges with the owner access feature. When employees leave the company and they own the Smartsheet space, it restricts us from adding new users, which is frustrating. I also find the integration capabilities lacking, particularly with Salesforce and Jira. An improvement in integration would be beneficial, as it would allow action items to become tickets within Salesforce or Jira.

I find the product enhances collaboration with customers by sharing workspaces, allowing them to make notes, send messages, and track projects and milestones effectively.
As a department manager it works well to organize employee times and project schedules.

the ease of use and the reports that are easily generated.

It can be to easy to make a mistake and sometimes takes time to correct it.
