Great Way of Organizing
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about smartsheets is that it has lots of ways for me to organize all my projects By name date and even color coding it for me . I love that i can easily add and remove data without affecting the spreadsheet and it has a unique way of making everything visible to the eye with just a glance instead of just being overwhelming with all the information introduced in just one page so it makes it presentable enough for me and saves me time when i don't need to make a whole powerpoint during my meetings . Another thing i like is that several people can join , view, and edit the smartsheet without affecting one another work that has already been done
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheets is very useful i dont think theres anything that i dislike . Maybe just the fact that the folders can be a little to much to scroll through if there's a lot of information to be recorded .
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its making it easier for me to have all my people contacts in hand instead of one huge excel powerpoint or really long microsoft document . It helps me keep it filtered by name , Organization and email and phone numbers even the position of the person in that company
Steep Learning Curve, But Helpful for Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
I find Smartsheet helpful for managing long-term projects and staying on top of tasks, ensuring I adhere to timelines. I love its feature of building a project template and creating new projects from it, which streamlines workflow and enhances collaboration with others on project management.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find Smartsheet to have a steep learning curve, which made it challenging for me to start using it effectively. It took me a long time to figure out how to use it properly, requiring me to watch YouTube tutorials and consult colleagues. Even now, I feel I am not getting the most effective use out of it because it is complicated to use. I would like Smartsheet to be more user-friendly from the beginning to make it easier for new users to adapt.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Smartsheet to manage long-term projects, staying on top of tasks and timelines. It allows for template creation and team collaboration, making project management easier despite an initial complex learning curve.

What do you like best about the product?

What do you dislike about the product?
Control & permissions - every time a dashboard is created, sharing the sheet is a drag to add individually as email versus having to be able to include them from outlook.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Before Smartsheet, it was tough to get a clear, real-time picture of where projects stood. Now, we can easily track progress, identify roadblocks, and share updates with stakeholders through dashboards and reports—all in one place. It’s saved us from endless status meetings and email threads.
2. Our teams were using a mix of spreadsheets, emails, and siloed systems. Smartsheet brings everyone onto the same platform, so communication and task updates are centralized. It’s made cross-functional collaboration much smoother.

Difficult to use, not user-friendly, and inaccurate metrics
What do you like best about the product?
I like that the Smartsheets convert the questions into appropriate tabs to collect the information needed to fill our Smartsheet.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the new payment style that extremely limits the number of users we can have under a given program. Our team is large. I think there should be an option where non-members can respond and add to the sheets' specific rows of information without making them provisional users and charging our company for the use. Also, when we tried to get additional training scheduled from your organization for our staff to better understand how to use Smartsheet, it was not free or included in the program. Customer Support is lacking. Also, Smartsheet does not talk to our other programs, so it makes it difficult to transfer any data from Smartsheet to our other EHRs.

It provides a location for all our new patient intakes and allows us to assign them to specific users.

What do you like best about the product?
Project management and cross-departmental team collaboration are made simple with Smartsheet. I particularly value the spreadsheet-style interface, which is familiar but offers more automation, task tracking, and reporting capabilities than Excel.
What do you dislike about the product?
Despite its strength, there is a slight learning curve for new users of Smartsheet. Certain sophisticated features, such as dashboard setup or automation rules, are not very user-friendly. Additionally, it lags a little when dealing with complicated formulas and very large sheets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our task assignments and project tracking across several teams are made easier with Smartsheet. We had trouble with inconsistent updates and disjointed communication prior to using it. We can now keep an eye on ownership, progress, and deadlines in real time—all in one location. Because it enables centralized documentation and the automation of repetitive tasks, it is particularly beneficial for remote teams.
Smart Sheet - Efficient and organized
What do you like best about the product?
I mostly use Smart Sheet in my organization to collect and organize data for projects and upcoming seasonal operational changes. I find that Smart Sheet has a lot to offer and I'm sure I'm only tipping the iceberg on the functionality of the program, but I appreciate the level of which the platform allows for collaboration with colleagues and ways to check behind the edits on a sheet.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would appreciate if Smart Sheet had more functionality like an Excel doc to calculate data. I'd more than likely replace most of my excel docs with Smart Sheet if it offered this functionality. Again it would make collaboration more accessible and transparent for myself and colleagues that I collaborate on projects of this nature with.

Ease of sharing content, collaboration, and organization of data.

What do you like best about the product?
You can make as many tabs and sheets as you want. Links to other sheets and documents can be out in the smartsheets.

Every time I click on a new smartsheet it opens a new tab and this makes me have a ton of tabs open. The sheets are limited I wish it was more like excel.

Keeps a checklist of items that the whole team can see. Manager can keep track of the projects everyone is working on.
Simply more productive

User friendly. Team members can update status, attach files, comment, and set reminders directly within the sheet, ensuring everyone works from the same source of truth

Following up on deadlines, sending reminders, and updating stakeholders often requires significant manual effort.
