Effortless Project Management with Exceptional Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Smartsheet's ease of use and its collaborative opportunities, which stood out to me from other tools we explored. Setting it up was simple, and its support has made discovering new features easy. The efficiency it brings to my team, allowing quick updates and task assignment, enhances our project management. The filtering feature is particularly useful, enabling us to view specific dates and tasks swiftly. Overall, Smartsheet's usability and speed in sharing project timelines make it an indispensable tool.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Smartsheet for efficient project management, allowing quick updates and task assignments, which enhances communication and accountability. It provides different views for team members and improves our workflow speed.
Phenomenal experience with the software. Seamless integration with existing trackers.
What do you like best about the product?
Most useful feature that exists in the software is the "import from excel" functionality. This feature has allowed direct reports to pull data and generate dashboards without the need for manual entry.
What do you dislike about the product?
Real-time collaboration with visible changes is not yet possible, to my knowledge. This feature would push the software to a new level of collaboration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Rollover reports and data management for multiple, cross-departmental systems.
Great way to report and share data, in a safely environment to all stakholders
What do you like best about the product?
With smartsheet I can safely share the data dashboards that I build to the stakeholders of the company that I work for and at the same time, I think is an easy tool to be used as a database itself.
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that you can only copy and past a max of 500 rows

Is beeing used has common database for all the copanies, and we share our data dashboards directly threw Smartsheet

i like the similarity to excel. its take some key features and made it very easy to transfer excel skills over. collaboration and liking projects with links makes it more useful that excel

excel still has an edge as its more simple and much easier to bonce between multiple sheets. moving around in smartsheet feels laboursome. to go from project to project and back to an overview. there needs to be a quicker/more intuative way
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we have a team of 8 with about 120 ongoing design projects and have needed a good method of managing this. we do not have a project manager and expect each employee to manage their own projects. we liked how smartsheets can give concise overviews and dive much further into more details on a project by project bases
Smartsheets is usable if set up properly
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that it handles automations regarding emails and changes easily. The support has been great and helped us more than we realistically expected. It fit out weirdly niche needs perfectly. We have integrated it with out factory processes, and the implementation was relatively easy with the iOS apps.
What do you dislike about the product?
The frequent periods of downtime can be somewhat frustrating as it halts all production until its back. We would appreciate notices or downtime or alerts when services have degraded so we arnt left guessing whether its an us or smartsheet issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed to track the effective use of production orders and dealer orders. Smartsheet provided a platform to enable this.

It's interface is easy to use, intituitive and scalable for any type of project and company.

Customer service is sometimes slow, but they are improving a lot.

Unlike excel, Smartsheet doesn't have a single workbook with multiple sheets.
To use all features, you need to pay subscription fees, which are not very reasonable.
Smartsheet's can be a little overwhelming for new users, until they get familiarized with the functionality of workspaces and sheets

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automated features send alerts, update fields, history of row / column changes is recorded throughout, thus eliminating the time spent in sending reminders to team members, etc
Collaborators can comment directly on rows, attach documents, and get notifications—all in one sheet, thus saving time and space from saving multiple versions of the same document.
Templates, forms, and automated workflows allow you to standardize repeatable processes across teams.

Now I am smartsheet proficient, I enjoy using it.

- We use Smartsheet links for our Hot Sheet, Status and Pipeline calls, daily
- I like creating reports/ forms - these are used in my day-to-day as Project Manager
- I like the ease of using it, it is somewhat less complex and the UI is easier than Excel
- I think that is in intuitive, can link to other sheets/ data, and removes the need of making multiple documents housing the same info
- People find it easy to populate, once the initial sheet is created.

It has it's limitations with formatting text differently in a single cell

- Allows automated scheduling - days can be pushed back and the entire WBS is altered vs editing dates manually

Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
I like that smartsheet is collaborative and easy to use. I also like that there are emailed notifications when there are updates made on my assignments.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it doesn’t save my work and I have to manually press save.

I like that SmartSheet can be accessed by team members easily and is accessible via the cloud.

I don't like that I can't add more than one tab to the SmartSheet. Going in and out of sheets becomes tiresome and not a good use of my time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Right now out team uses SmartSheet to track metrics and to store information so that multiple individuals can access it. My business uses it vs. Google Sheets or Excel for the security features.
