Used Gong now at two companies
What do you like best about the product?
A lot of companies deploy Salesforce for operational purposes and/or management reviews and 1:1s. But Gong makes us of the data in a way that is userfriendly and intuitive for sales. Also automating some aspects of data entry and checks. Ultimately so the sales rep can be more present and focused on how to win, vs. Salesforce hygene. Ultimately hopeful leading to more accurate forcasting and cross-resource deal support. I use it daily, and advocate for using this as the main Sales interface over SFDCs LWC UI.
What do you dislike about the product?
No real complaints honestly. just keep the foot to the gas and keep innovating bulishly. there is a lot opportunity to expand what Gong is doing and Im excited to see where they take things beyond the core sales capabilities they already have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong helps you keep ontop of what i call "deal killers" in a way that would othewise be manual. it helps 1:1 meetings be more on relivant and in context, vs. repetitive or "this quarters inititve is all about..."

It helps understand what our strng points are in a conversation adn how calls can be made better.

Gong thinks about solutions to problems you never even thought could be solved.

Concern that they may be trying to be too much and then lose how dominant they've been at developed best in class features for their core value and product.

Call recordings and AI summaries - Makes it extremely easy to disseminate the voice of the customer throughout the organization.

The best AI in the game, great user interface. Our account rep is also outstanding.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the call review feature. As an SDR manager, I need to review discovery calls to see if there is a valid opportunity. This feature cuts my reviews by 5x.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish we could trial and demo features for free. For instance, Gong engage is only available by watching a video or getting on a call with someone who can show the feature. I want to use it to craft emails for my SDRs but havent been able to try.

Solving the call reiew challenges. Helping me coach my SDRs on cold calls.
Always records, Good transcripts, Good AI
What do you like best about the product?
I don't have to wonder whether or not it'll record my calls, it always does. The transcripts are very helpful, and the interface is easy to navigate. I use it every day on customer calls and to review sales calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is very sales focused, as a CSM it doesn't immediately feel like a customer success tool but it serves most of my functions well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to share my customer calls with the team, and watch sales or customer calls that I'm not a part of.
Gong is a great tool for analysis and all selling!
What do you like best about the product?
Gong has helped me comprehend and understand the needs of client on a more personal and value-based level & it's been a huge help in my selling processes. You can go back and search within calls, there's transcripts, AI summarizes the meeting.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no way to create the same snippet once it expirres without having to go back to that specific call and re-snipping it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
recording meetings with clients & the ability to share questions they have with other departments in my organization

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to see a summary of the key points discussed in the call
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is a little clunky, but overall it is easy to use
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I manage 6 territories and am constantly on the phone - it's hard to take notes while also paying attention and being interactive. Gong is valuable as a resource to quickly look back on calls. I also like the fact that it summarizes key points, reducing the amount of time I need to pick through transcripts or actually listen to calls

What do you like best about the product?
the note taking features and the ability to revisit the call and ensure all understanding is 100% accurate.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does not link to my SFDC CRM so i still have to update projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the probelm of note taking and jotting down quicklly listed requirements as all are recorded and summarised. Saves me time and allows me to ensure 100% accuracy.
Amazing tool to keep deals moving forward!
What do you like best about the product?
I love gongs recording capabilities and deal activity tracking capabilities. The detail captured from calls helps you stay on track with deals and get over all the correct information to the prospect. Nothing slips through the cracks with this tool!
What do you dislike about the product?
Calling and email is a little clunky when prospecting out of the tool but it still does the job.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong lets me know exactly what i need to send to customer after a call. The feedback from calls is great for coaching and insights on how to improve.

I love the summary tool! Makes referencing call notes very easy

Nothing. Love it so much. My favorite resource that allows me to do my job confidently
