Gong - a great sales tool
What do you like best about the product?
Gong records all calls without needing to state it's needed in-advance, which makes it so incredibly easy to review calls for key moments. Both as a rep and as a lead, I find this tool incredibly valuable.
What do you dislike about the product?
To be honest, nothing so far. It's a simple, easy to use tool for folks like me as a rep.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are constantly curious about what was said on a call, from words to tone, and this cuts out the ambiguity.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Gong is a tremendous value to a sales staff.

What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to go back and listen to my calls to get insights that I may have missed. I also like listening to my teammates calls to learn from their sales styles.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that I can't listen to a live call and view the powerpoint presentation live without joining the gotomeeting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Efficiency of the sales call. Eliminating fluffy talk, i.e "Umm". Training new hires. Fine tuning my skills, tone of voice, and speed of conversation.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely a valuable tool for every sales team! Training and mastering your pitch are the main benefits of being able to "review the game tape" of every call with Gong.

What do you like best about the product?
The feature that I love is the most is being able to review my demo's after I have completed one with a client. I am able to see how I spoke, if I misinterpreted something, who talked the most, was the client truly engaged?
It is great for brushing up on my skill set. To see what I need to say on my next demo. With Gong I am able to learn from every demo or sales pitch that I do. I also am able to search for something that was said on the call instead of having to guess where it was said at.

What do you dislike about the product?
I guess sometimes it is hard to rehear what was said, and what I should have said or done differently. However not the software!! Sometimes ignorance is bliss...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to get my sales pitch and my demo skills to what they should be. The benefit is that I do not repeat past mistakes and am able to get my pitch to what it needs to be.

I would try it out. You can review anything from a call. You can use it a a powerful learning tool

Love that it partitions who is speaking and allows you to listen to only one person or to browse by keyword spoken on the call.

The transcriptions have room to grow in the development process. Most often the transcribed text doesn't make any sense because it is so inaccurate.

Perhaps a link to Slack communication would be beneficial...For example, seeing how the communication between team members while on a call with a client, can influence the direction of the call. Providing an additional line of accountability

the ability to quote clients, previous statements...hold them accountable

Great way to analyze sales calls
Ability to zero in on parts of the call and look for keywords (isolate calls where a competitor is mentioned for example)

Not much to dislike about. I think it's a great tool for the sales team.

What do you like best about the product?
Having the ability to go back and review calls is such an important way to improve and get feedback. Beyond that, going back and reviewing call so that I am sure I did not miss anything a customer might have mentioned.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far so good. Would like to see more analytics and features on how to quantify a call or bad call, and ways to improve. Better Note taking features.

Gong has been instrumental in helping to improve training and our sales process.

The ability to review my calls and get feedback from my team. Also how clearly I can see the important parts of my call.

When we have two people on the call it counts the total of the words together.

I am solving the issue of what I say on calls and how to be more effective with my words, timing, pitch, and tone.
