Essential Tool for Streamlining Sales Calls

What do you like best about the product?
Gong is super crucial for me because it helps me remember all of the things I discussed with a prospect on a call. I don't have the best memory, but Gong allows me to remember the things I talked about and relay those back to the prospect. I also really like that it allows me to listen to others' calls for coaching and improvement on my own job.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love it if Gong had a more generative AI capability, where it actually helped me to write business cases rather than just giving me notes from a call.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Gong to review calls with prospects, which helps in writing business cases and focusing during calls without distraction from taking notes. It allows for comprehensive reviews and helps with coaching by listening to team calls.

Efficient Meetings, Streamlined Follow-Ups

What do you like best about the product?
I use Gong for all meetings, including with external and internal stakeholders. Gong captures the important parts of the meeting rather than recording the entire session, which really helps me. I am able to quickly write a round-up email instead of spending time taking notes and creating an email later. The initial setup of Gong was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Gong's integration with Salesforce isn't seamless. When a person added to the meeting is tagged to two accounts in Salesforce, the opportunity isn't getting captured in the right account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Gong for meeting summaries, capturing important parts rather than entire recordings, and it helps me quickly write follow-up emails without taking manual notes.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Gong for work to recap meetings and for notetaking. I like that it assigns tasks for each person that's in the meeting and a little bit of assigns task based on the conversation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the addresses that were notated or wrong.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong helps with notetaking and recapping meetings. I like that it assigns tasks based on conversation. Spelling ensures accuracy, though some addresses were incorrectly notated.

What do you like best about the product?
I find Gong comprehensive and easy to navigate. It's the perfect tool for reviewing calls, as it's very easy to go back and look at any notes and information from calls. This helps me work on next steps and keep the opportunities moving forward. The initial setup was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The overall feedback on calls can sometimes be inaccurate. When we're on calls trying to explain our products and services, we're gonna obviously talk more than the client.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong makes reviewing calls so much easier, allowing me to go back and look at notes and information from calls, helping with next steps and keeping opportunities moving forward.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Gong for researching and notetaking on client calls, and it helps me stay organized and polished with notes. I really like Gong's consistency and summary skills. The initial setup was easy for me, as I didn't have to do anything on my end.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integration with MEDDPICC notes into Salesforce isn't seamless. I have to manually summarize from Gong's recording transcript.

Overpromised and Underdelivered, But Great Text Messaging

What do you like best about the product?
I like the text messaging interface on Gong. It's sleek, includes emojis, and the rich functionality makes it quicker and easier to use. This feature generates more replies from prospects and creates goodwill, something that SalesLoft did not have.
What do you dislike about the product?
The experience with Gong has been disappointing because their sales team promised functionality, specifically a voicemail drop feature, that wasn't included in the package. As an account executive, this feature is really important for driving callbacks and opportunities. It's frustrating that they didn't include it despite promising it, which really erodes trust. There's also some slight bugginess with the calling feature, and I find SalesLoft and Outreach to be superior in this respect. Their team has been slow in resolving this issue, and it's been two weeks without a solution, which is a major red flag. I'm disappointed with this lack of essential features and the lack of honesty from their account management team about what was included in the package.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong helps with communicating with prospects. The text messaging interface is quick, easy to use, and includes rich features like emojis, generating more replies and goodwill.

Indispensable for recording and analyzing meetings

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Gong transcribes words spoken during an online meeting into text form, which makes it very easy to search by keywords. You can also ask the AI agent about the content of online meetings, check what was promised to the client, and what the next steps might be. I also like that Gong records online meetings very well, which can then be easily sent to the client as personalized training videos.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes word recognition in Gong does not work with one hundred percent accuracy. Additionally, I found it difficult to use the search in Gong for calls, especially when I entered the exact name of the meeting, and the system often found nothing, even though it was searching in call titles.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Gong to record online meetings and create personalized training videos. It transcribes meetings into text, which makes it easier to search and verify promises to clients.

Gong Centralizes Communication

What do you like best about the product?
I like how Gong pulls together everything I need in one place, particularly bringing together all information about emails, phone calls, and prior meetings for my call prep. Having complete transcripts of my calls is helpful so I can do proper follow-ups. It also helps me prepare for calls and the Gong "Ask Anything" feature is very important for me to be able to pull information from my accounts, especially when I have recently taken over an account from a colleague and don't have their history. I love Gong Templates for sending out emails to customers - saves me a ton of time. I honestly don't know how I would do my job without Gong.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have had some problems with scheduling emails to send in the morning. Just recently, I noted that, not all of them went out. So this might be a problem with the connection to Salesforce or the emails being pulled in. We're still diagnosing the problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong provides complete transcripts of my calls for proper follow-up and pulls together emails, phone calls, and prior meetings for call prep. I can now know whether a customer has had recent emails with the CSM team, SDR team, or Professional Services team (and what they talked about) because it all flows through Gong. I seem so much more informed about the customer.

What do you like best about the product?
That I can keep focus in my sales calls and don't need to take notes myself. As a middle manager, Gong is also a great tool to scale my coaching efforts and review my teams' effort on calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
Gong, so far, only integrates with the most popular CRMs. We're using Zoho CRM, and I'd really love to see an integration to that. A lot of Gong's magic, it seems, happens when it has access to the full pipeline - feels like we're currently missing out on that part.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having better sales calls.

Cutting down ramp up time.

What do you like best about the product?
It’s very easy to access, and it helps us figure out where to find the exact trigger when needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, there’s nothing I dislike, because I haven’t run into any issues yet.

I use it to review how I spoke with the advertiser and to compare my rate of speech and overall performance across different calls.
