Amazing Recording and Transcription/summary service for customer calls
What do you like best about the product?
I love the transcription. we have lots of existing video demo content which we need to either produce equivalent written content for, or share with customers with markers for them to skip to the area relevant for them. The gong transcription, summary and video marker tools make it so fast for us to skip to the right part, remember what's been said in a meeting, or create cropped demo content that can be shared
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found too many negatives so far. It would be good to be able to upload a video thats been recorded by someone else (e.g chris) and have the transcription notes say "chris said" rather than Holly said, since I (Holly) uploaded it for transcription. this is minor though
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- taking meeting notes for me, meaning i can focus fully on what customers are telling me, without writing or typing.
- creating videos with markers to skip to the most relevant part of the conversation
- Transcription. Sometimes I copy and paste the meeting transcript into our internal company AI assistant, and ask it to convert the transcript into text for slides, brief descriptions, email content etc.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong offers a series of very smart features that have been key for us in our journey:
- AI "Ask Anything" to gain meaningful insights from accounts/conversations
- Call highlights out of the box you get a summary of a conversation so you don't need to listen to every single call
- Trackers to bring to your attention part of relevant conversations
- Scorecard to give quantifiable feedback
- Dealboard to manage pipeline, forecast and collaborate on deals
- AI "Ask Anything" to gain meaningful insights from accounts/conversations
- Call highlights out of the box you get a summary of a conversation so you don't need to listen to every single call
- Trackers to bring to your attention part of relevant conversations
- Scorecard to give quantifiable feedback

What do you dislike about the product?
We started accumulating a lot of very insightful data, however, the reporting and analytics capabilities are currently limited to exploit that data to its maximum truly.

What do you dislike about the product?
- Summaries can be inaccurate without technologies like RAG to leverage more internal terms like specific technologies we sell and sell against.
- Needs a bit more innovation, feels like not much has changed since I started using Gong 2 years ago.

you can search a word from the conversation and find where it was said, makes the searched super easy

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to use the ai tool to ask questions about the call.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes awhile for the calls to load, so if I need to go back to review a client's demographic info, I can't get to it and review immediately after the call.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to go back and be coached on how I could handle specific kinds of calls differently.

What do you like best about the product?
Using Gong is effortless. It automatically joins my meetings, takes perfect notes, and syncs everything to Salesforce without me clicking a single button. If I ever forget the details a client mentioned, I just search the transcript. It saves me hours of admin work every week and lets me focus entirely on my customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
The automatic AI summaries save a lot of time, but they still lack a human touch. Sometimes the AI misses the nuance of a conversation. For example, it might log a polite "no" from a customer as a positive next step, or it might not understand sarcasm or jokes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This app has really supported with the call feedback and hybrid call monitoring as well.

What do you like best about the product?
Helpful and Organized meeting summaries. I like that I can search for keywords in the transcripts to re-examine certain discussions in my calls

not much-- all is really helpful! Can always improve on the AI front -- they mainly just have an LLM summarize calls

Being organized and doing proper research for follow up calls
Gong saves us time and points our way
What do you like best about the product?
Conversation Intelligence allows sellers to focus on the meeting and not notetaking. The data that can be gathered and analyzed after the call inside of Gong is priceless. Helps sellers follow up better. Front line managers can easily see who's performing well and be notified without having to sit through entire meetings. Saves a ton of time. It also integrates easily and well with our CRM. The integration was crucial to us getting the most out of the investment.
What do you dislike about the product?
The way the packages are sold leaves a lot to be desired. I wish it was more al la carte.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Leadership needed clearer visibility into how prospecting meetings went without relying on the sellers meeting notes and interpretation of what happened. Gong's Conversation Intelligence allows us to quickly see unbiased key points that were discussed. It also details the follow up steps discussed saving time and ensuring nothing is missed.
Why I NOW love GONG
What do you like best about the product?
Great note taking ability - summaries are well presented. I admit to being a so-so note taker - this tool created fantastic notes for all to see - in their presented format - technical and sales. It integrated very well with SFDC. I use is very frequently and have grown to appreciate it beyond its initial impression of "meeting recorder"
What do you dislike about the product?
AI follow up emails aren't always correct - and sometimes meandering - i have to consistantly edit to improve formatting and content that is actually relevant.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong is very easy to use and has a lot of useful features. I particular love their AI features, which allow me to quickly find specific information from client conversations I and other team members have had in the past. I use it very often to get the context of a client.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it can sometimes it can be a hard interface to navigate. The automated action items are sometimes not completely accurate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to understand the goals of a client and were certain action items are at. I like that it connects to my email. I especially like that I can ask it a question and it scans all calls associated with the client, so I can easily take a look at the specific call that goes over that topic.
