What do you like best about the product?
Simply having access to all my calls being recorded into Gong is one thing. But the analytics that are also provided in order to improve talk-tracks, habits and more are invaluable!
What do you dislike about the product?
At the moment, nothing that I can consider to be monumental.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to review calls and go back to what the prospect might have said that helps me to speak more clearly to their problems.

What do you like best about the product?
Love that you can easily tag in your manager or others on your team to learn from each other and get coaching. Also great that calls are searchable so you can easily find mentions of subjects that you are researching or need to prepare for for an upcoming call.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was an easier way to add calls to the schedule for calls that don't get automatically added from my Outlook calendar. It would be awesome if I could forward a calendar appointment or email to a Gong address and have it automatically add it to the schedule.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy to review past calls to make sure notes are accurate and to prep for the next call, to make sure you can pick up where you left off. Easy to share ideas and talk tracks with others on the team, to hear those live rather than just talking through them offline.

    Information Technology and Services

Gong has been instrumental in coaching and feedback for our team.

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to effectively listen to calls and coach on them in real time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sifting through the calls is still somewhat tedious. But better than other platforms offering similar services.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Identifying areas where our sales teams are lacking.

Great tool for tracking sales success

What do you like best about the product?
I like how the tool analyzes calls to give feedback on areas that we can improve. It also transcribes calls, making it easy to identify key moments during the call where follow up needs to happen, as well as reduces the need to take notes during the call so that you can focus on the customer, their needs, and how we can help. I also like how Gong called out how many times I say "cool". Because I say it wayy too much.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't really think of anything that is very dislikeable, however it is a little awkward at the top of the call to have to announce that you'll be recording. Most have figured out a way to let them know we are recording without sounding too obtrusive,
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have found that my talk ratio is way too high on certain types of calls. By using Gong, I was able to identify areas where I can pull in the prospect to contribute more to the conversation while i shut up.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Start using Gong sooner rather than later! I was a bit of a late adopter because I was worried a bout what my prospects would think when recording calls. But when you frame it in a way that you are just trying to be more helpful to them, they are almost always more than open to letting you record. Sending the recording/transcription after the call has also been a great way to keep the prospect involved and keep our product top of mind.

very easy to use and a great tool for reviewing calls. Great way to improve your own sales skills

What do you like best about the product?
reviewing calls and going back to listen to missed information. i like that the conversation is color coded so you can go directly to important things you want to review. It is very good at identify who is speaking in conversations and when key words come up.
What do you dislike about the product?
sometimes calls don't show up or there or there is a delay. sometimes hard to find certain calls. I feel like we also get too many marketing emails from gong.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
improve sales skills by analyzing my own calls as well as others. good to go back and find missed information. It has helped me become a better salesman but analyzing my mistakes or flaws and also by listening to other sales people it has helped me pick up some useful tips .
Recommendations to others considering the product:
play around with it and learn as you go

Great training tool!

What do you like best about the product?
Having calls and videos recorded for demonstration purposes has been absolutely instrumental in my development as an account executive. Hearing feedback from a peer is one thing, but listening to yourself and critiquing yourself has provided as much or more value than any feedback I've ever had!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the videos don't get recorded for some reason. The interface can be confusing at first, but after a few uses I got the hang of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
First hand evaluation of myself. I know what I'm supposed to say, however things don't always work out how I want them during the call so it's beneficial for me to reflect back and see what opportunities I may have missed.

The feedback feature is great also, because peers can send you feedback and it is timed with the conversation itself so you know exactly what they are talking about
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you use it, it will help!
