Best notes are reviewable notes

  • February 19, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to go back and confirm the notes you took were correct, also hear the tonality of a call from months ago.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search function, to find a call from you or a college
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving the miscommunication between notes and reality. To be able to review a call from a month ago the same day as an upcoming call, is invaluable. It has allowed me to re-cap a call better than i ever have and the prospect really appreciates the fact that you can repeat back to them on another call in their own words and terms.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Well worth it for your sales and management team to get better and be more focused during calls.

What do you like best about the product?
Love the ability to share with others to conduct team call reviews. It is also great to be able to go back and check out the notes on your calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, not very much. It's very easy to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Call coaching and providing feedback for members on our success & sales teams.

Best sales enablement app ever.

  • February 18, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Everything. I use this more than almost any other app, besides Salesforce and email. It is the best tool for salespeople to improve, win and be successful in general in sales.
What do you dislike about the product?
That I ever had to live before Gong existed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Call reviews, improve talk/listen ratio, notes, recap on calls, sending around demos that are recorded, marketing, sales training, sales process completion, sharing knowledge across our org between sales, engineering, etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get it. It will change your sales org.

If you do not have this for your sales team you are missing out!

What do you like best about the product?
Gong has become a necessity for today’s sales team. Not only does it let you review previous discovery calls and demos but it gives you analytics on your calls to let you see where you can make adjustments on your sales pitch.
What do you dislike about the product?
After using the platform for about 6 months I would say it is hard to find a weakness in the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using Gong I would always have to think back on what a customer said about a certain topic. Now I can go back and review the call and make sure I’m best prepared for the next call with a customer.

One of the top three most important tools in our sales stack!

What do you like best about the product?
Gong is an incredible tool that saves our team a lot of time and additional energy. Sellers love Gong because the AI gives them valuable feedback and basic coaching from time spent speaking and ways to find a better seller to customer speaking ratio to actual sentiment and keyword analysis to address tone and crutch words such as "cool", "um", "so", etc. Our managers love it because it gives them the ability to drop in and listen to sections of calls without having to be on the calls specifically and allows them to provide feedback right within the system. They can even search for specific keywords (such as product, promotion, or pricing specific words) to drop into specific areas of a conversation that they're interested in hearing. Finally, our Sales Enablement team loves Gong because they have the ability to identify calls that they can highlight new hires to listen to or even snippets on objection handling, positioning, or whatever topic they're focused on to show what 'good' looks like in the field.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a non-admin, there is little that I don't like. The only thing I can call out here is that Gong's AI takes some tweaking so that you can highlight the keywords you want it to pick up on, but sometimes Gong doesn't pick up on certain individual's keywords or phrases in calls which can make it frustrating for some users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a growing sales team, we wanted to provide our sales leaders with a way to be in multiple places at once and be able to provide coaching and feedback to their sellers without having to sit on every single call. Additionally, our sellers were clamoring for feedback and we wanted a quick and easy way for them to be able to get feedback and coaching that they could receive and implement without having to wait on a manager to provide it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Gong is one of the few tools that I will continually recommend all companies look at, and one I will fight for in any future job that doesn't already have it. It's a must-have in your tool stack.

Gives you the ability to correct yourself.

What do you like best about the product?
The searchability of key moments in the call. Gong does a great job of breaking down what words you are saying, the cadence of your speech, how long you pause, when key moments are brought up as well as many other little pieces like the ratio of your conversation, how many times you say things like umm, uh, and other words like that.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that the transcription of the call isn't all that accurate at times. For instance, when I was attempting to read the transcripts of a call from one of my SDR's the back and forth between the two people was absolutely hilarious to read but fortunately was not the real conversation. It could have been caused by a poor connection on the call but either way, it was easy to simply check the call its self to hear the true conversation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working on sales talk tracks. I have seen a benefit in fixing what they call patience which is the pause between them ending talking and my beginning. Also, all of the features that I had said above come in handy to help me iron down my pitch, make sure I am discussing key points and to see what the top salespeople in my company are doing so I can do my best to copy them and improve my own conversation and sales tactics to match theirs.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If it fits your pain then it is a great solution.

Great Tool for Coaching/Training

  • February 07, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The analytics and detailed reports really make it easier for you to understand what was spoken about most, where the points of interest seemed to be, and where you are your most engaging self over the phone.
What do you dislike about the product?
Transcribing tool could be more accurate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Great tool for training and coaching. I've noticed where I'm placing emphasis on my calls, where I could be talking more about certain things, and have learned to ask better questions and trained myself to speak more eloquently and confidently.

What do you like best about the product?
Before I used Gong, I had no idea I could learn so much more from calls... especially my own. The detail is amazing and I used to think I am good with gaps between phrases but boy! was I wrong :)
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there is always room for improvement so I would say the only thing they can work on is how quickly the calls can be added to Gong!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong has helped me with cold calling considerably. I have been using it for 4 months now and I think every Sales professional should use Gong!
Recommendations to others considering the product:

Nothing short of fantastic. A necessity in every sales environment.

  • February 06, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's helped a ton with getting ramped up quickly. I don't have to ask reps to add or join their calls. I can listen to them on my own schedule. I also like how I can easily send a recording of the call to a prospect for their future reference. It has eliminated the need to do multiple demos for the same opportunity. I'm looking forward to using it for coaching with my directors. The mobile app is great too. I listen to calls while sitting in traffic.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to dislike here. I'd be reaching to try to think of something.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helped with onboarding and deal efficiency.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
What are the reasons to not use it? Can't think of any.
