My favorite sales enablement tool
What do you like best about the product?
Gong has become my most valued sales enablement tool. Here's why....1) Ability to get feedback from leadership and colleagues and improve my sales skills 2) Ability to relisten to the last call before next call, helps me stay on top of the conversation details 3) Helps me focus on the conversation because I'm not preoccupied with taking notes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Transcript tool is still not entirely accurate. But I understand that's a complex problem to solve for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem I'm solving is getting detailed notes and being able to go back to previous calls ahead of next steps to bring all the details back to my mind and thus have a more tailored conversation with my prospects.

What do you dislike about the product?
While easy to use for the most part, sometimes accessing calls from Gong directly is difficult. It could be user error, but I do still think it should be a bit more user friendly in that aspect.The transcribing can be quite off at times.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a great software to help yourself (as a sales person) or your salespeople become self aware of their sales calls and improve tremendously. I have seen my co-workers improve because we now have access to a software that holds us accountable to those improvements, allows us to go back and look at feedback we have received, so we can keep track of it, and to use it as a learning tool for new people that join our team! I highly recommend using Gong!
No other call coaching tool like it!
What do you like best about the product?
Gong is the ultimate call coaching tool for sales. The interface, dashboard, features on call playback, etc help me to effectively scale-coach my team. Gong continuously evolves its product to drive intelligence on call trends and be useful to managers. Also from a rep perspective, best way to take notes and have dialogue with their leaders on their calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
I believe this may have to do with our internal restrictions but we now have to manually add the Gong assistant to record calls which has missed a number of calls unfortunately.

Scaling call coaching centered around specific topics.
Very helpful sales tool
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to listen back to calls so you do not need to take as detailed notes, ability to find out background information from previous conversations, and being able to listen to other reps on the team to see how they approach different scenarios. Being able to go back immediately after the call to clear up any confusion is a great feature to have in such a fast paced environment. Also, with the ability to record and send calls to clients, if there is any he said/she said in regards to the sales rep not disclosing anything in the contract, helps save a lot of sales and frustration in the long run.
What do you dislike about the product?
The recording robot sometimes chimes in mid sentence letting everyone know the call is being record (if that feature is enabled). Also, the speech to text function doesn't always capture the true conversation which then requires you to go through and listen to that segment of the call. The integration with Salesforce is not always accurate on how Gong is tracking ongoing activity on the opportunity in Salesforce.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Learning from past conversations and growing as a sales rep. I realized that after listening to my calls, I have become more patient in giving my responses to the client. Being able to get statistics on your calls, I.e, patience, talk ratio, etc has made me a more effective speaker not only in the office but in my personal life as well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Highly recommend for any sales training and continued training throughout your career. This tool has served invaluable during the on boarding process, especially during the COVID-19 era. This tool allows reps to stay connected and learn while remaining remote.
Game Tape
What do you like best about the product?
This platform allows you to listen to conversations, the same way an athlete would watch their game film, to highlight successes, learn from failures, and highlight opportunities to improve.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is some manual labor involved but it is worth the investment for the potential benefits that come from the coaching.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are finding ways to improve conversations that sales people aren't aware that they need improvement on.
Perfect Insight to help in training employees
What do you like best about the product?
How I can dive into a call and really get a feel of how an employee can better him or her self.

I wish the navigation was a little clearer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a Team lead I am able to solve a lot of problems by getting clear insights on how conversations are going between reps and customers and can help train them better.

Listening to other calls to identify the best strategies for sales tactics.
Very useful system with good metrics
What do you like best about the product?
The analysis of the phone call gives good insight into how the call was structured and allows navigating to particular points in a call very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The voice to text function for the transcript can be inaccurate so I rely on the recording.

I'm able to easily rehash a sales conversation and remind myself of what was discussed, offered, etc.
Gong From AE Perspective
What do you like best about the product?
I like the call recording and transcript feature of Gong. Allows me to self coach and keep track of next steps I may have missed on calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont like that every person has to have an account that I share content from Gong with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving holes that our CRM has in tracking deals, conversations and overall relationships with customers.
Everything is great but the search
What do you like best about the product?
being able to listen/see old calls, with the text analyzed so I can find specific parts of the conversation is so valuable
What do you dislike about the product?
I hate that finding the call in question is so cumbersome. I search by name, Gong tells me there is no matching calls... I then, painfully, go to the specific date looking at all my calls and sure enough there it is with the exact name I tried to search for but some how couldn't find it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Just better recollection of the conversation, better than my notes are for certain calls. I can go back make quick references and I know exactly what we had previously chatted about
