A must have for every Strategic Account Executive.
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that I can concentrate fully on the customer and not be distracted by my note taking.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there could be private notes that you can keep on each call and then have the ability to integrate a follow-up from a snippet that could integrate with your calendar to action on. I also think that the home page could be more intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
An audio record of all historical conversations. If someone leaves a company, they don't take all the historical knowledge with them. I could not do this job without this tool.

My use case is predominantly in Customer Success but here is where I find Gong excels:
Internal
- When I joined FYLD, we had no visibility of our team's calls and training/sales styles. Gong has allowed us to do peer-to-peer reviews to gain context as to what our team is working on and hear stories directly from the customers.
- Time-saving - the summaries, AI functionality and email write-ups are also super helpful in saving time
- Score-cards - ability to provide feedback and coach users, as well as provide time-stamped comments
- Snippets! I love the ability to share a short clip of a call with the team to demo success stories, customer complaints, bugs and feature requests
External
- Can share calls with customers to use as training resources
- Can keep customers accountable with call recordings (as well as our own team)

- Email write ups are in American English
- Email write ups aren't always written in my writing style, it would be good to have the ability to coach the tool to sound more authentic

Visibility over discussions being had with customers and the feedback that they are giving our team. No longer relying on our teams notes or memory.

What do you like best about the product?
I know gong is recording so it allows me to focus on my calls instead of taking notes. It has become increasingly helpful for action items and follow-up emails. I use gong for all of my calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I hate about gong is the search bar and searchability. If I am looking for a particular call it always pulls up the calls with the entire company. Also, searching keywords is not a workaround.

Gong allows me to focus on the call and listen better then spending time taking notes.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the AI feature, it makes it super easy to go back to my calls and ask questions about the conversation - answers are impressively accurate.
The stats, feedback, and comment sections have helped me get really accurate feedback from my manager. This has been especially important since I am starting my AE position.
It's really helpful that I can go back to my colleague's calls and learn from them, as well as getting good context of past conversations and necessary next steps.
Hubspot integartion is GREAT.

What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to have an export option that would allow me to export all the names, emails, and phone numbers of everyone I've spoken to with a call debrief. I fairly often have to put certain leads into marketing email sequences and having such a list handy would be great.
I know that a colleague of mine had a somewhat bad customer support experience - it took the Gong team around a month to add him to the team.

The sales assistant capabilities is saving me and the rest of my team so much time.
It's really easy to recieve feedback on calls without having my boss have to join my calls.
Follow ups, demos, and other personalized communications are so quick and easy now - such a game changer.

Gong has been a great all-in-one tool for deal management
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can do almost everything from Gong and no longer need to update notes and events in 3 or 4 different systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Flows feature still feels a bit clunky but I have noticed a lot of updates and efforts to improve the experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong allows me to go back and quickly pull useful notes from previous calls and use them in my business cases. It also gives a great overview of my pipeline and shows me where I need to improve.

What do you like best about the product?
The recent feature/integration of AI, and being able to "ask anything" from a call recording has been extremly powerful. Asking "Is there a technical pain, is there a business case for our solution" has been something I do often.
It is one of my most frequently used softwares. The ease of use, continious educational emails from Gong have been helpful.

The transcripts are not perfect sometimes and there are a few typos...but overall not a major pain
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Note taking, asking the AI technical questions based on the transcript which is very beneficial as a seller. Keeping other team members and relevant parties in the loop by sharing recording.

Huge Time Saver for Sales
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite thing about Gong is the AI generated responses. As someone who works in tech sales, I do a lot of product demos and may forget small details about my prospects. With Gong, I can go back into the call and type in a specific question about the customers current challenges, goals, or really anything, and it will generate an answer based on the transcript without having to sift through the entire call to find my answers.

There really isn't anything I dislike - it is easy to use and straightforward.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No more having to sift through hour long calls to find one detail - I can just ask the AI assistant. Huge time saver.
